This is an amazing yarn shop! Not only do they have a fabulous selection of yarn, but the owner is so helpful! My mom and I went in a few weeks ago and bought several yarn kits in addition to a few finished items. My mom also bought some hand-knotted pearls which the owner herself made and she loves them.

I really appreciate the kits as they take the guess work out of knitting and the hat I made is beautiful.

This shop is definitely worth a visit if you are into yarn!

A small shop stocking lots of local goodies! We travel full time and I love finding yarn from dyers local to the area stocked at shops and there was a plethora of that to choose from here. Owner was kind and outgoing and we had a lively chat. Stayed a couple minutes after close to wind the yarn I had purchased as well (the winder here is actually good- does not go too fast and wind skeins too tightly).

Oh this lovely little shop really captured my eye. I went in once loved the things they had but a beanie really caught my eye.

I thought about it so much that I returned to get a better look at the beanie. It has green, bluish, purply, pink beads woven into it. It was a little dusty so it had been there for a minute.

Close inspection of the beanie, I was in love. It even had a name, black hole. I was like yes this is me, this is my new beanie. I love it and I am soo happy I went back and got it.

There other items in the shop definitely had my curiosity as well. I look forward to coming back to this shop and seeing what else they create.

Such a fun and charming little shop! The owner is super friendly, my mom and I had a great time chatting with her. In addition to larger brands like Juniper Farms and Malabrigo, this shop also carries hand-spun alpaca produced locally that is just absolutely gorgeous. She also carries lovely jewelry and shawl pins made by her husband using beautiful and rare stones. Highly recommend for knitters and even non-knitters for a delightful shopping experience and feast for the eyes!

Our (my) favorite store when we visited Taos was Mooncat Fiber, especially as a spinner and knitter. The owner was full of information and the handspun yarns were amazing. A goal to shoot for ... maybe in my next lifetime! Will also consider purchasing roving from the website.
