The waitress here was really great, she made some good recommendations! I got the marinated beet salad with chicken and the trading post chowder. Everything tasted delicious! The chowder has a great smokiness to it and the chicken was perfectly grilled! Hit the spot for sure! I will be back!

Tldr - Service is very casual, food is good. Single restroom

Place with a cool vibe.
The food was pretty good as well. We all enjoyed the food we ordered.

As mentioned, there was a single server working the entire restaurant. She was nice and pleasant. Just hard for her to get around the entire place on her own.
Also, if you need the restroom during your visit there may be a line for it as it's a single restroom for the establishment.

Among our favorite meal during our 3 day visit to Taos. The menu is so random, so we were intrigued. We got brisket Mac and Cheese, Garden Salad, and Onion Rings. Everything was delicious! Even the garden salad had a pop of surprise with dry roasted corn. So yummy! There is only one server, so patience is part of the meal but it's totally worth it.

Very nice warm environment. The waitress was really nice and helpful. I had the mac and cheese with brisket and it was the best thing I ate on my trip to Taos. Amazing restaurant.

The Trading Post has a very welcoming vibe. We had some pretty tasty pizza. I like how the crust isn't some dull end to pizza. The service is decent and quick. The restrooms are clean. We had an interesting view as one of the patrons parked his donkey out front while he sat inside.

I really liked this place. We ordered the Reuben Sandwich, BBQ Brisket Mac and Cheese, and Enchilada Chicken Asada. The food was all very tasty. Our waitress was great. It used to be a market, but the owner is moving it towards more of a restaurant which is a great decision.

The BEST green Chile pork stew around. So delish & not overly spicy. Tuna tartar was prepared nicely. The wine margarita was a bit tart but still good. Prices were reasonable.

This place was wonderful! My husband who is picky raved about the fried pickles and French dip, the service and atmosphere is great. Definitely recommend and we will be back.
