Such a beautiful cathedral in Taos, and its pueblo structure made it unique and different that most cathedrals that I’ve been to. I visited it on a Sunday afternoon so it was rather quiet but doors were open for visitors.

This is a simple but beautiful Catholic church. The grounds around the Church are also very nice. I enjoyed sitting on a bench in the shade in the courtyard, contemplating the front of the church.

The gift shop is way pricey. ($3 for a single postcard!!! Whoa!!!)

We viewed the mystery painting, which was a cool experience, although you do have to sit in the dark for 15 or 20 minutes waiting for the mystery to kick in.

Experiencing the church and courtyard is free. The Church ask for a $3 donation for Viewing the mystery painting.

The guide who brought us to see the mystery painting was very nice and patient.

Such an honor to visit this place of worship. For me seeing the dedication to unborn children near the walkway brought tears.

I haven't gotten the chance to attend a service here yet. Maybe this Sunday? Who knows? If I do I will post pictures and update . But I have been there and got to view the beautiful historic church it is. I just wish the surrounding buildings/ neighborhood was so dirty and ran down. It seems it would be more historic and kept clean but it is the complete opposite. But the church is beautiful and as long as the word is God is witnessed and preached correctly then it don't matter where it sits or what surrounds it. Nothing can be more beautiful then his word. I think I will be attending this up coming Sunday Feb 9th 2025.

A National Historic Landmark and a well-preserved adobe building in Taos. It’s architecture represents native and Spanish cultures. Inside the ceiling is impressive with wooden beams. Although I’m not a Catholic, I appreciate historic landmarks and interesting architecture!
