I DO NOT SMOKE
If I could give a minus review it would be a minus 5. I stayed here over night for 1 night. Everything was ok the breakfast was not good at all. Here is my complaint I checked out at around 9:30. It was me, my teen daughter and her friend. Around 10:30 I got a call from my daughter who works at a Marriott in a different state. She was able to get me her friends and family discount that we used to stay that night. (on a $260 dollar room I only got $30 off) The staff here proceeded to tell her that I had been smoking in the hotel room that not only would I be charged the full price of the room but will also be charged a $200 fee because they have to shut down that room and use an air filter in it for 24 hours. I called the hotel and asked what the problem was. They told me that I smoked in the room. I told the lady the I do not smoke and that I have never smoked or vaped. She told me that I did smoke in the room and that it filled the hall with smoke. I DO NOT SMOKE and my teen daughter and her friend do not smoke either. I told her it was not me and she just kept saying that it was me and the room smells like smoke. She kept saying it was me and I kept telling her I do not smoke. I told her I was leaving the zoo and, that I wanted to come smell the smoke in the room myself and she told me she can not let me in the room. I did swear at the lady because I was mad and being accused of something that I did not do. I told her that she needed to look at the cameras and see who went into the room after we left because it had to be one of her staff members with a key. The thing is that they have NO proof it was me smoking in the room. They smelled smoke they did not see me smoking. I have plenty of people that can vouch that I do not smoke including my son and his family that were staying there also and who were in the room and walked out with us when we checked out. My thoughts are that a staff member went in there after we left and had a smoke because it wasn't me. I checked out around 9:30 and my receipt said I checked out at 11:06. (We were at the zoo at 10:00) Or they had to come up with a story to make me pay full price for the room. The manager did waive the $200 fee this time only, (I will never stay there again) but I paid full price for the room. Also my daughter is loosing her privilege to get a discount because of these false accusations The reason for the post is to let people know there is some shady stuff going on there Be careful staying there. Personally I would look at the receptionist that morning.

The breakfast is absolutely disgusting. Prison eggs from a milk carton or boiled in a plastic bag. Only spicy hot sausage gravy to put over prison eggs. Almost expired skim or 1% milk (water). Person said management wouldn't even let them order 2% or whole milk. Rock hard breads. All this laid out on after thought looking counter/bookshelves. The staff were nice and did the best with what they had to work with. The rooms were OK. Hard to keep the room at the temperature you desire because the thermostat kept reseting. The bathroom door was spring loaded, so you had to put something heavy in front of it to keep it open. Otherwise it would slam shut, not cool at 3 am. Beds are lumpy with covers that come up to your waist. Shower trickles barely enough hot water to warm the bathroom. You have to do quarter turns for about 20 minutes to get clean. I miss the old days when breakfast was good, beds were comfortable and showers were strong.

It's an ok hotel. The rooms are nice and roomy with lots of features. The breakfast was yummy. I am a little upset that I paid $200 per night to eat breakfast with a homeless man who snuck in.

Our family stayed here on December 19-20…it was a very comfortable stay. As I travel 16 days a month for my career. I have to expect great service from Marriott hotels and they never fail to meet and exceed my expectations…thank you

Stayed here during balloon fest weekend. Standard room with kitchenette was a little cramped. Bathroom was perhaps the most curious I have encountered. Walk-in shower was designed without a door so it was half exposed and open at the back. This allowed water from the shower head to spray on the floor. Refrigerator had the loudest ice maker that sounded like a fire alarm going off at night. Fun to see the balloons flying in the distance.
