I have been a customer of this agency for over 30 years. I live over 350 miles away and still choose to use Jose for all of my insurance needs. Jose provides honest and quality insurance at a fair and competitive price. The number one issue for me with insurance is making sure I’m covered for the unforeseeable. Jose has made sure to have done that.I know that because, unfortunately, I have had to file several claims over the years and we have been extremely happy with the results. Dealing with Estrella Vargas, who is clearly the cream of the crop of Raton, is fast, easy and enjoyable. Due to her expertise, with insurance, I have been able to convince some of my friends to become customers of this agency. They too are extremely happy.

It's one thing to be a State Farm brokerage firm, but quite another to give the level of customer service I experience every time I go into the office, or even call on the phone.

While I've spoken with Jose a few times (extremely nice gentleman!), it's his staff which help excel this business into the stratosphere. Super-friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I've had a couple situations which needed extra TLC. The staff didn't fret, didn't complain. Heck! They didn't miss a beat! They just explained the situation, provided solutions, and got it done!

I've been using State Farm insurance for over twenty years, so when I purchased a house in Raton years ago, it was the obvious choice. Yes, I shopped around. Rates were comparable. What sold it for me, what clinched the deal, is Jose and his wonderful staff.

By the way, they are easily located in the center of town. There's a lot of things you can do online now (YES! Jose and his staff keep up to date with the latest technology!), but sometimes you want to see and speak to a person face-to-face. They provide that option in the cutest little cottage of an office.
It has been sheer delight working with this location!

Jose has been absolutely professional to work with. Very responsive and great insurance solutions for home, auto and business! BTW, an update three years later...State Farm and Jose were great with guide sheets about putting a wood stove in my house! No issues whatsoever!!
