March 2024 … after over a year the laundromat finally has hot water again. It is definitely old … retro 1960s. Four working regular sized washers … and four medium sized washers are working. Dryers are mostly functional. Love the 7am opening time. It gets my clothes clean and dried … just what I wanted.

Previous: Still no hot water after a month. More machines broken and left unrepaired for over a year. At least lower the price for a wash until issues are resolved. Paul needs to get serious about repairs and hot water … otherwise close/sell.

Previous: I have defended this old fashioned laundromat in the past. But no hot water?! Inexcusable for a laundromat. AND … still same expensive pricing for COLD water.

There a response to a review over a year ago that said there were going to be new machines... I left based on the ambiance of it all. Hopefully Trinidad has better results.

Dirty and expensive and most the machines don’t work. Dryers are hit and miss. Feels like I stepped back in time except for the prices. Ouch.

Interesting experience: at least 1/2 of washers out of service. Equally same for dryers. All machines are at least 25 yrs old.
Could be training seminar for Speed Queen repair techs on antique equipment.
Price is worst I've run into 3 and 4 dollars depending on size of machine. Value closer at most to $2 for 20 mi wash.
Floor is dirty so if you drop anything you may have to redo it.
The only good news is they are doing their part for climate warming in the only wash option is cold water.

Walked in looked around walked right back out. This place looks like a broken down crack house. One couple there about to go eat lunch because clothes were taking over an hour to dry said only one washer worked also. For a corporate business this is unbelievable! Found a beautiful mom and pop owned business in next town.

Some machines down ,most are working , The mix was balanced, so it still works. Place was clean and machines that were broke were clearly marked. All machines that we have used over 3 visits worked fine. Considering the places history and the degree of worn out equipment the new owner had at sale date,they've come a long way. 4.5 easy. Ps. There are other laundries but this is the better priced deal.

Washers work they get my clothes clean every time, Dryers work great when they are not over stuffed. I have to go do my laundry every week there and never have any problems. The owners are really nice and willing to help if they have to, I have no complaints.

This is a wonderful laundromat located centrally in the little town of Raton, New Mexico. We frequent Raton quite often as it's such a charming town with lots to do.
Rather than pack for a week, this laundromat allows us to cut our packing in half, as long as we take the hour or so to do the laundry.

There are probably forty washing machines and thirty dryers. I've never seen it busy there where I had to wait for a machine. The washers are of various sizes so if you have big loads or small, even comforters (!) I'm sure they can accommodate you. There haven't ever been many, if any, "Out of Order" signs, which is a good sign the machines are well taken care of.

The dryers can get HOT, so be careful. I choose a lower setting which takes longer to dry, but doesn't bake my clothes.

There are vending machines for soap/detergent/etc. in case you didn't bring any. Also, vending machines for drinks and snacks (even some fancy juice beverages if you're tired of soda/gatorade).

There's a drop off service if you don't want to do your own laundry (fluff and fold). I haven't used it, but if they're using their own machines, I'm confident it will work perfectly.

In Raton, if you don't have washer/dryer at home or in your hotel/motel room, I can't imagine a better place to do your laundry. I plan on returning to Apollo again and again.
