Awesome art store! Great staff that is also very knowledgeable. There’s not a lot of good art stores in New Mexico unless you go to Micheal’s or Hobby Lobby and there’s no comparison to Artisan Santa Fe!

As a professional artist and former North Carolina resident who regularly visited Jerry's Artarama in person, I am absolutely impressed with Artisan Santa Fe and now see it as my art supply Mecca! Virtually every facet of art process is addressed at this store! They also offer EVERY item offered by GOLDEN art products!!!!! (MY favorite acrylic paint is GOLDEN Heavy Body, and they have EVERY type of GOLDEN paint and medium here.) They also offer a mother lode of superior paints and supplies. I was floored to see the entire rack of Old Holland oil paints (my favorite and hard to find), Holbein (every type of Holbein medium!!!!), and more! They also offer a plethora of superior marbled and textured papers, framing supplies, brushes, paper pads, and more. They have a member rewards program, so I signed up for that!

They also offer a nice variety of classes in the store, and the space is very bright and roomy. Their website has a calendar of events and classes, and you can sign up for and pay for the classes online very conveniently.

My artist friend and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and they are SO friendly and encouraging! So down to earth AND creative, they hold the spirit of the artistic heart and are always thinking of ways to encourage the art community in Santa Fe and New Mexico.

Went here because my wife wanted a paint sealer for her artwork.

This place has a great selection for 2d artwork supplies. Not so much for 3d art. But we didn't go there for 3d art supplies.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Felt like a good art store vibe.

My mother was looking for some very specific art supplies, and this chain store is her favorite for many reasons... quality being at the top of the list.

I found the store delightful, very clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed their sense of off-beat humor!

Paint colors are not displayed alphabetically, though... that kind of surprised me. We had a difficult time finding the colors she was looking for. * Maybe they're displayed in a confusing way everywhere? I don't know. I am not the artist she is and usually buy tubes of paint from (horrors...) Walmart.

I needed spray varnish for an antique oil painting I had bought; I welcomed the assistance I received over the phone to find out what was in stock. This place has everything for artists, crafts people and hobbyists. I had never been in the store despite living near Santa Fe for 30 years. I will definitely go back with more time to spend looking at the beautiful handmade sheets of paper for gifts and other projects. There was also an art class in progress. This is NOT a big box hobbyists' supply store with lots of junk from China. Prices are competitive with the items I checked online.
