I traveled about an hour to get to this store, and I was not disappointed! As a seamstress, it’s tough to find a place that sells sewing machines built for serious work, and I was ecstatic when I walked in and saw the selection. Amazing machines!

After years of working on a “home” machine, it was time to invest in one that could match my workload, and this store had exactly what I needed. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making the experience even better. I couldn’t recommend a better place to shop for sewing machines and supplies!

Great little shop with great service.

As a Hispanic male, walking into local quilt shops is typically met with “What the hell?” looks of caution and in one case completely ignored.

En route home to Atlanta, I had my family stop at Dothan Sewing Center. As I walked in alone, I readied myself for the awkward that surely would be present at this small shop in a small southern Alabama town.

I walked in and it didn’t take long for some one to welcome me in and offer assistance. I told them I was just looking and kept looking. Was in the market for a 2.5” ruler and pressing mat.

Found them (at a great price) and kept looking around. It was nice to be greeted multiple times as I perused. Perhaps they were just “checking” on me suspiciously, but it didn’t feel that way.

The fabric section wasn’t as big as other stores I’ve been to, but lots of notions and supplies available.

Would definitely come back if I lived in the area.

Friendly people. I brought two of my Karate belts to see if they could embroider them. Ms.Mary was the
go too person..

Ms.Mary said she had never done Karate belts before but if I wanted to leave them she would give it a try.

Well I picked up my two belts today. Thank you Ms.Mary I think they look great.What you think?

Very nice store. Lots of nice fabric, accessories/notions, and machines. Staff is very nice and very helpful. They just serviced my Singer machine so I am not sure what happened with the previous reviewer. Highly recommend!

Oh what a wonderfully friendly reception when I took my Janome in for repair! I love the staff, service is offered from the heart and I love the prices in the store! Win, win, win! What's not to love! Our first time there, we'll be back real soon. If you have a weary sewing or/and embroidery machine, go see them to find a better producer for your business/hobby. And they have really wonderful classes, too...just saying...a class to really learn your machines capabilities better...make better looking products...time to put your business hat on maybe? Check it out!

I can't say enough about this staff! They are absolutely amazing! Mr. Jim was such a pleasure! I bought a new to me multi needle embroidery machine from an individual and immediately took it in to have it serviced and needed help figuring out the hat hoop system that came with it. Mr. Jim sat down with me and went over everything I needed to know about it and patiently answered all of my questions. Everyone was very nice and helpful! Customer for life!!!
