If you are a fan of older Catholic sites, this place is for you. We were able to attend a mass here and it was wonderful. I realize that churches a similar places are not for everyone. That is ok, just pass on by. However, if it is you thing, you owe it to yourself to stop.

Everything was so pretty and peaceful. Be respectful. The bathrooms were clean. It is free but you can leave donations. The museum is still a work in progress but if you are in the area, I recommend to visit

I have beautiful memories here, and I hope that my linage has made a good impact on one of the holiest places I have ever been. Miracles have been made here, the staff takes very good care and I have never experienced anything negative.

We went here with my Dad a long time ago and got some holy dirt. We were on a trip in New Mexico and Arizona and we were staying at the Boulders Resort. They also had great tamales there handmade by nuns. It's a good spot for lunch!!

For starters we are not religious people however we wanted to have a pit stop on the way to Taos. This is a place my grandmother would stop when I was younger and definitely had soil and figurines from here. The church and adjacent chapel of El Nino are definitely moving. It is important to remember the context of these places and the time they were built. We are not fans of colonial art but again, we were moved by the quality and character of their design. The adjacent chapel brought me to tears seeing the childrens shoes filling every inch. The surrounding compound is peaceful and lovely to walk around. A good way to get fresh air, view the chapel, stop at the potrero general store and be on the road again.

Drove up after visiting Santa Fe. Was not high on my list to visit again. It’s quiet and peaceful, but if you need to go to the bathroom, prepare to have a less than great experience. Bathrooms are dirty and no toilet paper. For the number of older visitors who I saw there, I was saddened by the condition of the restrooms.

Religiously moving place to see and experience. This is a church with very scenic grounds. Many people come here as a pilgrimage. Flowing waters and the surrounding mountains create a relaxing and calm throughout the grounds. Religious statues have been placed around the church. This is an active church and they do have services daily. No photography allowed inside the church.

I am in no way a religious person, and certainly wasn't raised any form of Christian, but it's hard not to appreciate the devotion and art of this historical New Mexican gem! People there were lovely, and the area was spotted with lots of artistic touches and had lots of personality. This is a place of pilgrimage for many, and it's lovely to know that so many come here to get some spiritual fulfillment. I did not go inside because I had my dog with me, but there was plenty to see walking him around the area.
