Such a cool vibe restaurant with great food. Hidden gem right after getting on the island!! BYOB.

Update 8/2024: went back and we got the steak platter for 2. Definitely not enough food for 2 people but was still good. Shrimp pasta with crabmeat was better. I also liked the charred Cobb. Was grateful we were able to be seated in prime summer season with no reservation!!

The sautĆ© shrimp and potato planks were awesome. My 12 ounce skirt steak was asked to be cooked medium. It came out more. A medium rare just could’ve been cooked a little bit longer. My husband fillet was awesome along with his potato planks. Definitely go back to give it another try there are many things on the menu that looked delicious.

I chose this restaurant for the reviews I read for our last dinner of 2023. To my surprise the restaurant atmosphere, service, and food presentation was consistent with the reviews however with the exception of our food being served cold. I am not sure what happened exactly however I did notice several tables were left as is after other guests finished their meals and left. No staff cleaned up the tables until about an hour later. The restaurant was full tonight but it seems it was under staffed. The (2) servers seemed overwhelmed trying to handle all the tables and clear it afterwards. It seems Management should have been more plan full and scheduled additional help to cover the reservations. I believe our food was cooked to perfection but left in the kitchen for awhile before being served. This was disappointing. I have mixed feelings about returning to this restaurant. Maybe I’ll give it another chance in the future I don’t know. All these reviews can’t be wrong so I must have come on an off night but it still was disappointing.

Went here for an anniversary dinner with my wife. 28 amazing years, but this isn't about us, its about the food....

Place is fairly new open about 4 months or so. This place is gonna do really well. If your in town from NY and tired of fish and bored with old causeway, and are looking for a steak dinner this is your spot. We had a meal that rivaled any NYC steak house. Food was cooked perfectly, simple, flavorful, and good portions. I had the bone in rib eye, the mrs had the filet mignon, both were excellent. They do have a nice fish menu too.

Staff are pleasant, and attentive, food came out in reasonable time. Zach was fantastic, super friendly. Prices were great as well, and they are a BYOB establishment. Cant ask for more. Give them a go, you wont be disappointed. MAKE A RESERVATION.....

I’m so glad we found this place! It was completely by chance when we were looking for places to eat last minute, but let me tell you- the steak was the best I’ve had in years (and I’ve worked in a couple upscale restaurants). The calamari and shrimp were excellent as well! I loved the cozy atmosphere we will 100% be returning!!! Wonderful customer service and also BYOB, so come prepared with a tasty wine! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a steak/seafood spot in LBI 😁

Made the reservations online and it said we would be in room 2 which we didn't know what that meant but when we arrived, it was basically all just one big room so seating was fine & really not a bad spot in the restaurant, unless you're someone who is cold, then ask to not be put under the AC units.

Our server Alexis was great, no complaints about her or her service at all.

I went with my father and he enjoyed the meal, I on the other hand was not a fan.

My dad had the clam chowder and said it was great. I had the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp looked strange and the taste was off.

My dad and I shared the flame grilled sampler. Once again, he thought it was great, I was not happy. I thought some of the steak was extremely fatty, the skirt steak had a spicy flavor to it and just the quality was not up to par. I had the mashed potatoes as a side and there was no taste to them at all.

I did enjoy the bread though!

The couple behind us had the meatloaf and they said it was delicious so I may be back to try that.

My wife and I usually go to Rare about once or twice a month and the food is always FANTASTIC and the service is even better. Our most recent server Mackenzie was an absolute dream. We have yet to be disappointed there. I highly recommend the Eggplant Tower appetizer, clam chowder (both the Manhattan and New England) and the Filet Mignon dinner.

This is a cute little spot for family dining with nice wait staff. We dined on a rainy Wednesday night so there went many other parties besides ours. While all entrees came out on time and tasted okay, the food was basically cold and one of the add-ons was missed. Our waitress left the food and didn’t come back to check on anything, so we never ended up getting it. For the price, I would say try somewhere else unless you enjoy cold steak and fish.
