Friendly service. Took the time to look in the back for me. Felt good doing business with a smaller store than the big chain stores. Don't let the size fool you though, they have a wide variety of items in stock besides the numerous kinds of lumber!

While I appreciated them allowing me to go through the lumber yard and hand pick, I was very surprised to see active termites in a pallet of 2x6x8, roaming around. We picked a seperate pallet and that seemed to have no issues, but the other pallet was put right back on the shelf.

Unfortunately, unless you go and select exactly what you want, you get whatever is there.

These guys always go out of their way to help a customer. They made a suggestion that I followed about repairing a baluster I wanted to replace. I fixed it in 5 minutes based on their suggestions. I bought moldings here and they found exactly what I needed.

I don’t know the company but their truck coming through very busy downtown red bank was one of the worst heavy operators/drivers Ive ever seen. Packed street in Red Bank, people all over and hes tailgating and hammering the brakes and gas like a madman. Really really bad look for the company. Complete disregard for anyone. .

I only needed a cedar board for a bird house project but they were very helpful and also answered the phone (no recording). Good service isn't always the norm at many places and those that provide it should be patronized, sure it's easier to go to the home center but when possible please support these smaller businesses so we still have them.
