This general store in high rolls has a little pizza place inside the store, a little hole in the wall! This pizza is so good! It’s almost like Peter piper pizza which I love!! This pizza you won’t be disappointed!! I have tried in the past but since it has came back, I have not tried recently but is willing to get there on time, one of these days! We came on January 2nd, 2024 and the store was open but the pizza place was closed and was going to be open at 5pm. We got there at 3:15. So we were a little early.
If you go make sure you go at 5pm when they open the pizza place and they close at 7pm , so make sure you get there on time!

Great place to stop for most of your road trip needs. We were camping in the area and stopped here every day for the excellent food from the grill (I still think about how great that green chile burger was!). Everyone who worked here was extremely friendly and accommodating, and Guy stopped by our table to chat with us and make sure we were enjoying the food each time. They have gas pumps, firewood, snacks, and they even have homemade soaps and candles. Thanks for the hospitality, Guy - we'll be back!

Great pizza! The crust is a thin crust and had plenty of cheese! They also make burgers and chicken strips. I would rather eat hear than pick up fast food in Alamorgrdo. I believe the hot food is available 5-7pm. The store has quite a selection for the size of store and the prices aren’t bad.

When I walked in to this store I was overwhelmed with how run down it looked. The only store between Alamogordo and Cloud Croft on that road and it's no wonder it's never busy. For a General Store it was sparsely stocked, and what few souvenirs there were they weren't displayed attractively.

Quaint general store with fuel. Breakfast burrito was good, homemade pizza even better. Small Cafe at back of store. Owner, Guy Ross, also local fire chief, has done an outstanding job on reopening this store.

Just the most friendly man I think I've ever met! And even though someone had messed up his store bathroom, he was kind enough to let use his personal bathroom for an... We'll say, pit stop emergency. Also, for such a remote little place, decent prices to top it all off. Highly recommend!

This adorable little convience store has way more than you'd expect, you can do a small grocery shop, or just grab what you forgot heading camping; breakfast and lunch served limited hours daily and ethanol free gas and diesel, this echo of an old west storefront (plus pizza) is your last real stop before cloudcroft for gas! So double check your gauge before heading into the Lincoln Nation Forest
