Nenu,his wife and son are always very friendly and welcoming. They have way more grocery, and every day items than Wawa or any other convenience store in the area. Lottery and tobacco. I love this little store.

The owner and his wife are very nice people. If they didn't have what I needed/wanted, they would recommend something similar, and the next time I went in, they went and ordered extra of the original I needed from the time prior. Awesome store and awesome people!

Truly convenient for all the regular items you may need and run by a really great, genuine, local couple. Stop by once and get to know them; you will always go there. IMO- locally owned small businesses are the foundation of a strong community. You can go to Wawa or Walmart, but there's no personality and no savings.

There aren't a lot of convenience stores in the area, so when I saw this one I was eager to check it out. The sign promised food and drink, how bad could it be?

Well, despite the claim on the door that they offered "Special Hoagie-Subs", there was certainly nothing of the type available. There were package goods, and a strangely complete section dedicated to Hispanic spices/food, but definitely nothing fresh made.

There was the usual assortment of soft drinks available, but on close inspection many were expired by a few weeks at the time of our visit.

While Nenu's left much to be desired in the food and drink department, they did at least have a few unique offerings. Such as the large pile of firewood for sale outside (complete with sign telling the customer they loaded it at their own risk), or the wide array of smoking pipes (complete with sign telling the customer they were naturally for tobacco use only).

Given its excellent location and captive audience I had high hopes for this store, but overall I'd have to say Nenu's is a better roadside oddity than a functioning place of business.

I stop at Nenu's atleast once a day. This is the only convenience store that has treated me like family. Such kind people and excellent prices! They carry everything from firewood to fish/crab bait. And the price of milk is the lowest around.
