My experiences with Goldspot pens have been excellent. Every order has arrived very quickly, faster than most retailers. Each item is as expected and if I had any questions about my purchase they were responded to right away. I had a question about their points program so I contacted customer service and they explained how my points were applied. I would certainly recommend Goldspot for purchasing fountain pens. I’ve purchased several times from Goldspot over the years. Always an easy and great transaction! I called one time because I goofed on an order AND TALKED TO A REAL PERSON! Also they have a helpful YouTube channel that has tips for writing with fountain pens etc. They also have fair prices! I definitely will give them more business!

I have purchased a Leonardo pen with an elastic fine nib. The pen was beautiful. I first cleaned it out when I received it, then filled it with Diamine Sargasso Sea ink. I noticed that the pen was hard starting. Frequently on downward strokes, the pen would leave no ink. Otherwise the pen wrote well. I contacted Goldspot By email and got An automated response with the suggestions to solve the problem. The only way the pen would work and consistently lay down A line of ink was to occasionally turn the piston knob and force ink down into the nib and feed. This of course, is not the way the pen is designed to work. I was contacted by customer support and was given the option of sending the entire pen back for repairs or for sending the nib unit back and getting a replacement. I opted for a replacement nib. I haven’t received the replacement yet, so I don’t know how the pen is going to work, But I trust that at some point I will have a pen that works properly. Customer support was very helpful in this process and even though there’s been some delay in getting what I ordered I’m pleased with the response. I got from Goldspot.
