I was actually at Stop N Shop, which was very expensive. I took a friend shopping there and the check -clerk was very professional and helpful. I noticed that the employee who took care of carts was very helpful to disabled/elderly customers, assisting them with electric cart service in the parking lot.

Rutgers plaza is fast becoming a nice one-stop-shop hub in neighborhood on Easton Avenue; better Foxwood Drive and JFK Blvd. In addition to a Stop & Shop supermarket, you can find a Bank, fitness center, upscale jeweler, dry cleaners, barbers, T-Mobile, GameStop GNC and restaurants. They just added two new restaurants — Flame Kabob (January 2019) and Morals Village (coming soon).

My favorite Stop&Shop supermarket, on busy Easton Avenue, here in the Somerset section, of Franklin Township, in central Jersey. Lots of good produce, etc, here to get, this time of year. Now, on Nov. 18, 2023, inflation is leveling off (things aren't going down in price, much, but have stopped skyrocketing up in price, for now, at least!) So, more & more "deals", are starting to appear, in all the food stores around here. And, this time of year, Thanksgiving, is the best time, to get some good deals on food, to prepare and/or cook, at home (like I do, a lot, for example!) So, I came home, loaded down with redskin potatoes, sweet potatoes, organic bananas & apples & raisins, and Florida navel oranges & mandarins, all at reasonably low cost, today. And I wasn't alone, in that store, either. Place was busy; so, it was a good deal, at a good place. Where else would I get my organic fuji apples from New Zealand, huh? Nowhere else, for sure! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...

Well the condition of parking lot only is a little bit to be desired, there were no major practicals and Mall itself has a lot of little shops including a hot pot place and several service companies. Large grocery store to one side helps make the parking lot feel not so empty.

The stars for the memories. After being away for some years, much has closed. Only stop and shop, GNC, dry cleaners, Venus jewelers, dollar tree and 2 (newish) restaurants remain. Another Kmart like store would draw more business. Recently, a barber shop opened.

It's not the same anymore after Kmart closed, all the nostalgic memories are gone. Me, my bff, & kid's use to come here for Easter Sunday after Church just to buy a few things. GameStop and the other stores is not there either. I do like Moral Pot and they have the BEST dollar store in the area w unique selection.
