ShopRite in Sparta Township is like the superhero of grocery stores—clean, organized, and ready to save the day. First off, the place is spotless. I mean, you could probably eat off the floor… though I wouldn’t recommend it because, well, there’s an entire bakery section for that.

The parking lot? It’s so big you might lose your car, but hey, that’s a future-you problem. Inside, the layout feels like the grocery version of Hogwarts—separate magical areas for meat, fish, bakery, and deli. Each section felt like its own kingdom, and I was totally here for it. The produce section deserves a round of applause. Not a mushy tomato or wilting lettuce in sight. The employees clearly keep a sharp eye out, tossing any questionable fruit like grocery store ninjas.

The store itself is massive, which is great for exploring but gets a bit tight around the checkout area. That’s the only spot where the magic felt a little cramped. Overall, though, it’s an impressive store that sets the bar high. ShopRite absolutely delivers on cleanliness, organization, and quality. I’ll definitely be back to conquer this grocery kingdom again!

Every week there are an insane amount of substitutions and out of stocks.
Last week was 17. I went in myself and found everything. Spoke to a manager. They apologized.
This week they sent my substitution text while my husband was waiting in the parking lot for our pick up. 10 substitutions, plus out of stocks. The dissertation I write about what milk to sub with is ignored weekly. This week I spoke with a manager from ShopRite from home who was extremely rude. I asked to speak to the store general manager whose only response was that he doesn’t have my order in front of him and that I am holding up the order by not accepting my subs. What kind of manager passes or takes a call without having all of the information
Meanwhile the previous week the employee told me they don’t look for things if they aren’t familiar with them, so they just say they are out of stock. He also told me they have the aisle numbers and locations for each number in hand.

Very clean inside and out. The parking lot is massive as well. Very spacious until you get near the check-out area. I was a big fan of the individual areas for meat, fish, bakery, deli. This made it feel more professional in nature. The produce section was filled with fresh fruits and vegetables as it should be. Let's be serious though, we've all been in a store and found bad produce. These employees were on top of keeping only the freshest around. The store is massive and I hope it continues to be as good as I'm portraying it to be. The only problems I had were the tightened checkout area (mostly covids fault with the new regulations) and that I didn't have a quarter on me to use a shopping cart. I completely understand why they do that but it was annoying.

This Shoprite has the worst workers when shopping. No other shoprite in the area is like it.

3 separate areas in the store the same thing happened and it happens every time I'm at this store.

1) A woman was working the lettuce. I stood there for 2 minutes waiting to get into the lettuce fridge. She looked at me multiple times and kept working. I finally said excuse me can I grab a bag of lettuce. She literally growled at me and rolled her eyes! Really?!?!

2) Next I almost got run over by an online shopper. She then kept cutting me off. Literally moving and stopping right in front of my through out the store as I'm shopping!

3) Another worked walked into me because he cut right in front of me walking toward the door in the dairy section. He gave me a dirty look and kept walking.

Folks, this is not acceptable. Your employees need to be courteous and yield to the customers. There is no other way to say it.

I can only imagine what's happening to someone disabled or elderly.

Everything laid out nicely and the wide aisles gives customers plenty of space. Great specialty food selections, along with buffet style hot meal selections made fresh daily. Just wish produce was a bit fresher at times. Lately (1/11/24) there is an extreme lack of some basic produce, including tomatoes, grapes, watermelon, etc. They also need more "manned" lines open.

Ordered a cake from the bakery a month in advance and it wasn’t ready when my husband went to pick it up and we even were there after the time I asked. the person just quickly printed the picture of Spider-Man for my sons cake and slapped it on. It looked absolutely awful. I’ll never get another ShopRite cake again should have spent more for a private place.
