This is the best Shoprite of them all. It has the largest selection of any supermarket in NJ. You can also find a halal section in the freezer isle. The baking department is top notch. Seafood department is also one of freshest I have seen around.

I only gave two stars because of the close, convenient location. Unfortunately, I have had two unpleasant shopping experiences at this particular location, and coincidentally, both occurrences have been with the same employee. On 12/23/2024 at 5:37pm, I was at self check out scanning my items when the self check out attendant - stout, Caucasian male with glasses physically positioned himself to watch if I was scanning my items. Initially, he was standing at the main register near the exit door. I was the only customer on line when I began to check out, which made it quite obvious that he was watching me (view the footage). I made a comment to the attendant about the blatancy of him to hover over me, in an attempt to make sure I was not stealing, that how he positioned himself did not go unnoticed. Upon reading some of the reviews, I came across another customer who experienced the same situation, and by the description, it sounds like the same employee/attendant. As I initially stated, this was my second encounter with said attendant. I regretfully let it slide the first time but I had to call it out this time, as it is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I understand that theft is reality and that there are loss prevention processes in place. However, it appears that sensitivity training should be incorporated, enforced or reinforced, especially with said overzealous employee/attendant. The situations screamed overt profiling, and it is the company's responsibility to ensure that ALL customers have a pleasant, comfortable, safe, unbiased shopping experience.

I complained to management just 2 or 3 weeks ago about cashiers at night not helping to bag and instead just standing there. I was told by a manager I believe who identified herself as Genevise that the cashiers would be trained and told that it is their job to help bag. I was here on Saturday night 4/12/25 at about 6 pm and the cashier just kept pushing my groceries did not bag 1 item but kept annoyingly pushing groceries to me to the point of actually interfering with me bagging my own stuff. This particular night seemed like a free for all. It was like no management was present and everyone knew it. I was walking through the frozen food area and about 4 or 5 employees were standing around just talking and socializing. I had to wait for them to let me through as I tried to continue shopping.
I think I'm done, after more than 30 years shopping here I am going to find a better place to shop.

The parking lot was full but luckily somebody pulled out right in front of me, and this was on a weekday afternoon. The store is huge so I was able to find everything I needed in one place. I love the bakery and it smells so good! The attached liquor store, "Wines & Spirits" is super convenient. Overall I have had good shopping experiences here.

We always shop at this store and it is usually very good, however tonight the meats were mostly brown or grey, and that was what was left, the produce was not good and our deli order was not ready, we arrived 45 minutes after the scheduled time. Asked the deli worker and he asked my name and said give him seven minutes went back after we finished our shopping and it still wasn’t ready, we had to wait while they prepared it. Never apologized. Shelves were slim pickings too…Where was management tonight?!?!

I was harassed my the sign toting people asking for money about feeding there 4 kids. While they went in and out of a real nice SUV. It’s a scam. I told the store manager about this. And was told the would go out to see. Got a call from a friend that it also happened to. Looks like the move from entrance to entrance. I guess life long customers have to be harassed.

Worst customer service at the self checkout- confrontational and lack of respect. She claimed her name as Karen. I met her 1/9/2025 at around 12:35pm at the self-check out. She presents herself with No name tag, wearing at thick heavy black coat. I waited and called for help button. No one came to assist so I had to walk away to get some help. When I came back to the self checkout area and she screamed and said “you can’t leave your items here.” I wouldn’t have left have my items in the checkout area if someone were here to assist with transaction. She continued screaming at me and telling me “she was here” but clearly she does not. There is a CCTV recorder on the ceiling and I suggested her to roll the tape and she suddenly quiet down. I have been a loyal customer of ShopRite for over a decade. Been a customer at this Little falls NJ ShopRite location since 2021. Every employee that I have met been so helpful and friendly. This is such an unfortunate to have such Karen’s attitude.

Greeted well by the friendly security at the entrance. They were helpful to help me and guide me to the restroom. The location is right off the highway and the store is big. I liked that the fish department offers to dry the seafood you purchased. The store is well kept and an extremely busy one.
