I enjoyed this hotel very much. The room was comfortable with a sensible layout. The storage for clothes was great, but I especially loved the bench that was perfect for either sitting to put on shoes or placing my suitcase; and the 3 hooks above it were a plus -- this was the best thing I've seen in any hotel, anywhere, ever. The lounge chair and table were perfect for watching TV and eating takeout. The bed was very comfy but the pillows were less so.The shower was adequate but nothing special, same with the tub. The TV channels were very limited but I wasn't there much so it wasn't a deal-breaker. I only used the desk once but the lighting was adjustable and the chair was comfortable, I'm sure business travelers will find it meets their needs. Hotel staff was helpful and complimentary breakfast was varied and tasty -- cereals, pancakes, and pastries every day, and a rotation of proteins like omelettes, bacon, pork or turkey sausage, or sausage gravy with biscuits. There was some noise from other rooms but not too bad. Overall a great stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of this hotel and its staff from the warm welcome at reception onwards. The spacious bedroom and bathroom, which were cleaned to a high standard, offered opportunities to relax and the bed was very comfortable. The provision for making Tea and Coffee, and the products on offer, were better than other hotels we stayed at during this trip. We would have no hesitation in staying here again should we have reason to be in the area.

This trip was made on short notice. As an IHG member, I chose an express for the first time. Overall, the experience was great for me and my adult son. The rooms were well-appointed and spacious; the beds were terrific, with pillows identified as soft or firm. Room darkening blinds promised a great sleep. The bathroom was spacious with known toiletries, and the towels were soft. My son ate breakfast and was satisfied. I enjoyed the coffee in my room. I recommend Holiday Inn Express.

This hotel is so clean and fresh and bright. The breakfast is good and now there's a new coffee machine with Costa Coffee - so delish. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a great experience. My only complaint is the room was heavily scented - either from the bathroom products or maybe the cleaners spray something when they're done. I am allergic to perfume so I struggled some nights with sneezing. Other than that it is fantastic.

We regularly stay at this property when we visit family in the area. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The room is clean. This visit our room was located amongst a block of rooms for a wedding. About 1:30am there was an argument in the hall that woke us from a sound sleep. One of the parties involved was clearly very intoxicated. It turned into a brawl which required police presence and ultimately ended up in an arrest. By time all the guests on the floor settled back down it was close to 4:00am. We did not sleep the rest of the night. I understand that the hotel is not responsible for a guest’s unruly behavior but it was a disturbing experience nonetheless. I know this property frequently books wedding parties. Next time we stay I will request that we not have a room near the block.

We booked the entire hotel for our daughter's wedding and were extremely pleased from start to finish. Special thanks to Jessica for her constant attention to detail and willingness to make our stay perfect. Her communication from day one of planning to checkout was exceptional. The front desk staff and maintenance staff went above and beyond to make our event carefree. The rooms were clean and comfortable and most of all affordable. I give this hotel an overall excellent recommendation.
