My daughter had a fantastic first lesson with Glen. He was so kind and friendly to her (she told me she liked chatting about music with him!) and he had her up and going in no time!

The conditions were a little rough, but he assured us that everything was safe and he took great care of her. We hope to have more lessons in the future. Great experience!

Got a great price on two foam top surfboards. Very informative staff helped me get everything we need for a solid beginner setup. Kate provided great service and even set up the fins and leashes on the boards! Awesome shop.

I highly recommend Max and Wavehog Surf shop. Max took the time to ask me about the boards I ride, which ones I liked and why so that he could recommend a new board that fit my level and style. I can’t recommend Max and Wavehog enough. If you're looking for a board, definitely give them a shout.

There is something special about Wave Hog. I’ve always had a great experience when going in there. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Max. He took the time to discuss all the differences as well as the pros and cons of a few different surfboards I was looking at. I ended up purchasing a beautiful 9’0 Machete. I would recommend both Max and Wave Hog to anyone looking for a top notch surf shop. Cant wait to get this beauty in the water!

Max was a fun, patient, and excellent instructor for our family of new surfers. The three of us (two adults and one teen) all got up several times during our initial lesson. We then rented a board from their friendly shop and practiced the rest of the day. Highly recommended.

Took a semi-private lesson with my 7 year-old daughter there. Glen was our instructor and he was great! He was very clear, gave us helpful feedback, and we had a wonderful time. Awesome place, we'll be back!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I could not be more happy about my experience at Wave Hog Surf Shop. Max was amazing. I went in looking to get a whole new surfboard quiver. He helped me pick out the best boards for my style and skill level. Gave lots of great advice when picking out leashes, fin set ups, and track pads. Answered all of my questions. He was also able to help me out with a coupe surf board trade-ins I had, which helped me purchase my new boards. He also did a quick surface level ding repair on one of my new boards, on the house!!! I will continue to return to Wave Hog Surf Shop for my surfboard needs. I would also highly recommend Max for his personal ding repair services.
