Audrey, the owner, was absolutely amazing! She is incredibly kind, attentive, and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs, ensuring your stay feels special. Her hands-on approach to customer service truly stood out. The food was exceptional, and the house itself was beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully peaceful. My husband and I stayed in the High Point Suite on our first night, and it was such a relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

They made a modified breakfast for me because I’m vegan. We got in for one night, so we didn’t get to experience a ton but we did check out all the rooms and they all look so cozy! There was a secret cat in the kitchen while we were eating, we wanted to pet it but it was forbidden, sad but understood. The bed was cozy, the carpets were clean, overall nice one-night stay & a reasonable price! They let us stay later as we ate our breakfast after preparing all our items for departure.

We had a short overnight wedding stay at The Whistling Swan Inn in Stanhope. We decided to take this alternate to the limited hotels in the area. The Inn was very unique and welcoming. Audrey greeted us and made sure we felt comfortable and knew everything that we needed to know for our stay. |We were pleasantly upgraded to a larger room being we had a son that also needed a cot in our room . This room was on the 2nd floor and we had family on the 3rd floor as well. |Very pleased with the accommodations specifically the lovely renovated bathrooms. We found the home , although old, clean and |well decorated in the Queen Anne style. |Also, the breakfast was a treat. Audrey prepared scones, homemade yogurt with fresh fruit, grits , eggs , and sourdough bread!! |The only issues we ran into was the cot mattress was not very comfortable and my daughter did not turn her heater off on the 3rd floor so she was very warm in the night. We definitely recommend a stay at the Inn especially if you can stay longer and in better weather to use the gorgeous porches.

The breakfast is a highlight of my stay! Audrey prepares the most delicious meals, and she even goes above and beyond to pack them up for you if you need to take them to go. It’s such a thoughtful touch that showcases her dedication to making your stay memorable.

I’m a lifetime customer and can’t recommend The Whistling Swan Inn enough! If you’re looking for a delightful escape that feels like a home away from home, look no further. To celebate my birthday, we opted to stay at The Whistling Swan. Centered in my hometown, it provides easy access to antiquing, restaurants and music venues. We enjoyed dinner locally at an italian restaurant, went to The Stanhope House for a Billy Joel/Elton John revue, an dhad an amazing breakfast. The new owner was delightful and I look forward to her upcoming renovations.

The Whistling Swann Inn is an absolutely lovely place. My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon and then again this past Christmas to celebrate our one year anniversary. The Walnut Valley Suite is our favorite spot-- with its cozy fireplace and peaceful corner location. The breakfasts are also to die for. We look forward to breakfast each time we stay and love what the innkeeper creates. I have a dairy sensitivity as well, and she is so creative with her dishes to accommodate dietary needs. This will forever be a special place to us and we hope to visit again and again over the years.

Delightfully relaxing and visually memorizing. Audry is detail oriented with a friendly yet non-intrusive demeanor. Her breakfast is delicious with many items to choose with no limitations, served in a comfortable and lovely setting. Available grab and go items for guests always in the dining room.|The room was well appointed with delightful antiques and amazingly comfortable bed, pillows and linens. So quiet.|The neighborhood is like stepping back in time into a lovely quaint setting feeling wonderfully safe. Able to drive short distance to roadways to get anywhere in north Jersey quickly.||We will find reason to return to north Jersey just to stay at the Whistling Swan with Audry as host again.
