I ordered two cakes from the bakery for my sons first birthday and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. The staff in the bakery were very pleasant and extremely helpful. They listened to all of my requests and made suggestions to help make the cake’s perfect. We chose two flavors one yellow cake with fresh fruit and a custard filling and another chocolate cake with a chocolate moose filling. All of my guest wanted to know where I got my cakes from because they were so delicious and fresh. I was surprised with how much cake was eaten by the end of the party. The bakery staff is doing an amazing job ensuring that customers are happy with not only looks but also taste! I will definitely continue ordering cakes here in the future.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Katie and Steven for assisting me today. While I felt ill in the store, they went above and beyond to do their best to make me feel better. They restored my humanity that there are still good people in this world that are compassionate and empathetic to a stranger. Wow, this shoprite is extremely well organized and super clean. Friendly staff and management as well. The store is split into various aisles compared to other general supermarkets with long aisles. I visited here out of convenience after hiking in Stanhope and needed a few items. I'll likely be back in the near future if needed.

I ordered a sub with my food delivery, and there was a black hair when I opened it, no one in my home even has black hair. I called to complain because it was my daughter's and my lunch and they said I can get another one that's made fresh.... lies the next sub had more black hair under the cheese and all and the lettuce was old... so they got mad...but this is how us customers get treated by being a loyal customer for the last few years..... just sad. I will never be getting a sub from ShopRite again. Maybe not even getting my deliveries from here no more either. I still can't get over this...

Picked up today with online ordering. Excellent service. On time. Just waited in my car and the order was brought out and loaded up in my trunk. Contactless.

Update 10/12021: This ShopRite store used to be my favorite ShopRite store in the area. Now when I come on a regular basis, I find that a lot of the shelves are empty. The produce section in particular is not well stocked. It used to have the best produce in the area but now the ShopRite of Mansfield in Hackettstown New Jersey usually tops the Byram store by far.

Update 2/19/2024: The store is back to first class. Well stocked. Fresh produce.

Well stocked today. Employees are very pleasant. I prefer Byrsl to Mansfield store. Seems more organized layout & definitely better parking lot!

In the Hunt for NJs best Boston Cream donut and have to say that Shop Rite Bakery of Byram has to be considered in the top 5. This old school donut was a monster and for only 69 cents, you not only get a great donut, but great value. This donut was so fresh and full of chocolate and cream, just like you want out of a great Boston Cream. So good, I had to eat 2 on the spot. Great Job Shop Rite Bakery.

Meat dept is lacking in both availability and variety. Store brand chicken is poor quality. Ordering anything through the app is basically a 50/50 bet as to if you get what is advertised as available. Substitutions ate given with no effort or forethought. The kids running the orders work hard and are not to blame.
