I went into Caroline’s in Haddonfield to get my wife a Valentine’s Day gift. I found a red LV bag that I thought she may like but was questionable. The sales person in the store was very nice and said they don’t do refunds but they will exchange it and give me store credit. Not to mention I paid full price for the bag and didn’t even try to negotiate. I figured I could find something worst case scenario if my wife doesn’t like it. Well, she didn’t like it so I came back 2 days later to exchange it for something for myself. I find a LV duffle bag that had a missing strap and Removable leather ID holder. I really didn’t need it but I had to get something.. I asked the sales person what’s the best they can do on the bag. She called Caroline and she said $1850 from $2100. I said ok let’s do it. She then says on the phone “wait, he’s exchanging another bag? I can’t give him that good of a deal then”. I said we just made a deal and now you want to go back on it? I being frustrated just took the offer for $1,950 as I wanted to just get out of there. I look it up online the replacement strap is $500 used and the bag from LV brand new is $2620. So i essentially paid full price for a used bag since I was handcuffed with their policy and she was unwilling to negotiate since I was exchanging. As a Haddonfield local I’m very upset the way they do business. Will not shop here again.

I was recently in the store and saw this bag but thought to myself that it was not a necessary purchase, but two weeks later I was still thinking about the bag and had done diligent research online and saw that everywhere else, this rare, vintage find was being sold at a much higher rate. I decided that if anything this would be an investment piece and I called the store to purchase! The associate was patient with me and answered all my questions and Caroline had also conversed with me via DMs about the bag… so I made the purchase! They shipped it to me within two days and I love it!!!!!! (Thanks again!!!)

I used to really like coming to this shop but after today I decided to stop purchasing/trading with them. I’ve probably bought /traded close to 15-20 items this year at Caroline’s alone. I bought a bag there for $1900 cash. I took the bag home and over the weekend tried to use it. I could not fit anything I needed in the bag and it was too small. They do have a no refund policy, BUT as I mentioned before Caroline also bought bags from me before so I figured she would buy this back at a reasonable cost considering I just bought it days before. Instead of a reasonable cost, she offered me HALF the amount I paid for the bag ($950) just a few days before. This was unbelievable to hear considering how much business and money I’ve brought her as of recently. Needless to say I will not be purchasing with them anymore. Selling designer bags for just a couple hundred dollar less than what they’re worth brand new and then trying to screw your customers on a thousand dollars just doesn’t sit right with me. Anyways hope this helps others

They are so lovely!! I’ve had bad experiences at other consignment shops, probably because I have tattoos (?) so I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve forgotten her name, but the employee (and awesome door man!) were so friendly - funny too. 😅 highly recommend them if you have items to consign!

Great experience! Definitely overwhelming when you first go there because the number of goods. I am very indecisive, but they didn’t mind me wandering around for an hour until I made up my mind. The ladies there were very nice, I will be back!
