Always enjoy the mall. They open earlier than most shops for people to come and walk and get some steps in during the winter. Expect mall prices, just paid $5 for a single pretzel but the Starbucks prices are still reasonable.
Smells nice and is clean inside. Can't complain about that.

There are a great variety of stores and vendor kioshs. It is clean. The food court offers lots of choices. My favorite is the Greek place that makes the most delicious spinach pie that my granddaughter loves. Nearby is a free toddler play area. It is sponsored by Inspira. It's my granddaughter favorite place to play with its slides and interactive features. We go around 11am twice a week for socialization and exercise. It has a decorative padded floor, so it's safe. At this mall, you see many Adult or near adult day care wizh their caregivers. I love that this mall is not so huge. It's just the right size.

This mall is always filled with families and teenagers, it's so nice to see a mall thriving the way you would have imagined 20 years ago! My teenage daughters love to go shopping here with my mother, it's nice to see that not everything was taken away by COVID-19.

Had a beautiful Mentor/Mentee outing at Round 1 Arcade. My 1st time there. I was either very hungry or the pizza served there was really good. I wasn't the point person or organizer, but it seemed to go very smoothly!

It's been many, many years since I've been inside Deptford Mall. We arrived around 5pm midweek and it wasn't easy to find parking close to an entrance.

Once we got inside, I was impressed. It was clean, well-lit, with a plethora of stores. "Shiny" is a work that comes to mind. The selection was more upscale, with prices to match as far as we could tell. One store we entered had "classic" used clothing, cleaned and pressed and priced like antiques.

It was a pleasure to walk around - a feast for the eyes! There are 2 stories with escalators at the end (we only went to one end, I suspect they are at both ends) and stairs in the middle. I was impressed with the classy JCPenney's.

It's a lovely place to visit.

But if you are looking for a mall still in nice shape with stores and prices more conducive to the pockets of the majority of folks, Cumberland Mall may be a better option.

This mall has gotten so bad. Every Friday and Saturday after 5pm, it is filled with teenagers in large groups wearing masks and hoodies covering their heads. I have never felt so unsafe in a mall before like this. What happened to the rule that minors are supposed to be with an adult? Guess they don't enforce that anymore. Also, almost every store and kiosk was closed at least a half hour before the mall closes. Don't go to this mall on a weekend or late in the evening. It's dangerous and you won't be able to shop.

This is the best mall I have shopped out in a long time! Took me back in time to the the 80's days of malls being the go to, to buy whatever and hang out safely, comfortably out of the weather.

Old school anchored by Boscov's, Macy's, JC Penney Department Stores and Round 1 Bowling & Amusement. The only thing missing is good old Sears and a movie theater.

This is a 2 level mall with nearly full occupancy, not empty store after empty store. I didn't count or take note of how many stores, maybe on another visit. Between the the three anchor department stores and all the mall stores, IMO, you should be able to find whatever you want.

There is also the classic Food Court offering many choices and seating.

Several bathrooms available that are clean not gross. Three types; Men, Women, and family.

There is a clear and present security force to keep the shoppers safe to the best of their ability.

There is plenty of free parking in attached paved outside lot.

Parking lot, mall and bathrooms ADA compliant.

There is not one, but at least two, EV charging stations Tesla and another company.

If I was going to give 4 stars it would be the mad house traffic you may hit getting into and out of the several mall entrances depending on the time you want to shop. I am sure if you know the area well it is much easier to get in and out.

Are you kidding me. The Deptford Mall is amazing. We spent about three hours shopping and had so much fun.
It's more of an experience than a shopping trip. We started off at Zales because I had a ring that needed a repair. Instead of having the ring repaired, I was offered a credit on another piece of jewelry. I settled on a sapphire and silver bracelet and it is amazing. Zales is an awesome jewelry store. We stopped in at White House Black Market and picked up a nice pair of skinny boot cut jeans. And they look amazing.
We had dinner at the food court. And then we left for home.
I highly recommend The Deptford Mall.
