Let’s start with the name. A perfect NJ insider name that harkens back to one of the most iconic NJ landmarks, The Stone Pony. That’s what drew us in. The bakery is so quaint, wiry clean lines and a modern exterior. We tried the lemon blueberry scone which was excellent, fresh, tasty, and quite large. We will be back to try more!

Had the best scone of my life. As soon as you walk in the door, you are hit with the smell of heaven. Lori and her staff are top notch. Should have taken the photo before the bite. But couldn’t resist.

Used to live in Spring Lake Heights and loved coming here. I never liked scones till I had their's. Now I live in PA, and whenever I am in the area, I place an order or stop by. Went 5 weeks ago and got a Pumpkin Scone with Cream Cheese frosting. So good!!! I usually get chocolate chip scones for myself, but my family loves the lemon poppy and blueberry. One time, they ran out of chocolate chip ones but kindly offered to drizzle chocolate on a vanilla bean one for me. They also have amazing cinnamon buns!!! Not the cheapest scones, but good quality I will pay for. It can get crowded, especially in the summer, but staff are always pleasant.

So yummy! These scones are moist inside and flaky on the outside and have a divine glaze on top..worth a trip to their store! Very busy and small shop so make sure to get there early as flavors run out. Only downside is the price $$$

Absolutely exquisite, small bakery with fresh baked goods. There are scones, muffins, coffee cake, cupcakes, tarts, and cookies, which can vary based on the day. We tried four flavors of scones and the coffee cake- all were so fresh that they were warm, fluffy, and incredibly outstanding. The Cranberry Orange Scone was our favorite. I would highly recommend visiting.

I'm a first timer, and absolutely loved The Scone Pony! Charming little shop in a lovely part of Spring Lake, but most importantly the scones are the BEST I've ever eaten! I can't wait to come back and try some of the other baked goods. It was so worth the drive!

I Bike 50 miles on Sundays through Spring Lake...apon completion, there is no place on earth I would rather be than at the "Scone Pony"!!! I Love the Beautiful Owner (husband too) and Staff. Why? Always friendly under stress. Always overly accommodating (a culture of service long forgotten). Additionally, its the warmest, home-like appeal available in Nj. Small, aromatic, and full of celebratory love. "How's the bakery " you ask!!!... Embarrassingly, when "Harry met Sally" You know THAT scene. I found myself saying I'll take what she's having!! Cakes, Scones, Key lime Pie, Brownies, Blueberry Cheese Crumbcake ...OMG...Round 2... this is the exceptional quality at a reasonable price. Psst... you are buying Love, it's priceless and timeless like a Diamond.
