A hidden gem! I was blessed. To spend a long weekend, taking in the local area. The small boutique hotel was everything I needed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Even though it was off-season, the hotel was pretty full, but you would not know it. it was super quiet and relaxing.

I cannot wait to visit again when the weather gets warmer.

Lovely and comfortable suite on the third floor. Definitely got my climbing steps in. Bed was like a cloud and nice choice of pillows.
Public spaces were perfect for gathering with the other members of our weekend retreat.
Can’t speak to quality of breakfast, as I slept in both days!
I couldn’t ask for a better place to recharge, and greatly looking forward to return trip in 2026.

I have had multiple stays at the Hewitt Wellington over the last few years. Without exception it is a wonderful experience EVERY time! The historic building and the rooms are meticulously cleaned and well kept. The staff is friendly, professional, and quickly accommodating. It's clear that they all want to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. Every time I leave, I can't wait to come back.

Stayed here for one night for a wedding in the area. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway. The hotel felt like a home away from home. We loved it! The fireplace in the room was a nice treat too!

Anthony and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was celebrating my son’s wedding rehearsal on same day had to bury my sister in the morning and needed extra, last minute accommodations. They worked on it until were successful. Rooms were spacious and immaculate. Whispers Restaurant has superb food.

The HW has become a favorite with my family and friends. If you are looking for a beautifully appointed, quiet place with historical ambiance and GREAT service, this is the perfect spot. The location provides beautiful views of the lake and the ocean and is within walking distance of the center of town. Just perfect!
