From the initial conversation with April to the checkout, it was a 100% stellar experience for my adult daughter and me. The Sussex Parlor was spotless, roomy, and well-appointed with plenty of towels and comfortable beds. A fire in the wood-burning fireplace in our room was the perfect welcome back on a cold, rainy night. The location was perfect, near a beautiful park and surrounded by stately homes. We had a delicious breakfast at the Honey Berry, a staff recommendation. Thank you.

A nice place in a great location. Room was clean but small. Being on the ground floor it was very loud. In addition, you can hear clearly the guests in the room next to yours. Very annoying. Average. Parking is ok but I was here off season. TV is small. Bathroom very small

The Chateau Inn & Suites in Spring Lake, NJ was a perfect place to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We were upgraded to the Classic Suite and our accommodations were lovely, spacious & fastidiously cleaned. The Inn's manager April, along with Sage, Ryan & Jeff were friendly and engaging. They surprised with a special bottle of delicious wine. The Chateau is centrally located, across the street is a beautifully manicured tree-lined park. They offer cruiser bikes and we took a leisurely stroll through the quaint little town and onto the beautiful boardwalk on a lovely day in October. We enjoyed our bottle of wine while playing some board games in the glass enclosed gathering room. Looking forward to a return trip to the Chateau in the very near future.

My family and I first discovered the Chateau Inn and Suites during a summer visit to Spring Lake, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The accommodations are quaint and thoughtfully designed, with beautifully appointed guest rooms that reflect the inn's attention to small details.

Our favorite part of the stay was gathering downstairs in the lovely sitting area, where we enjoyed fresh cucumber water and our morning coffee together. The location is unbeatable—just steps from (our favorite) Joseph’s Italian Deli, Spring Lake, and only a few blocks from downtown shopping, charming cafes, and of course, the boardwalk.

Our heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel staff for making our stay so warm and welcoming. A special mention goes to Sage, who greeted us at the front desk and is part of the family that owns the inn, and to the hotel manager, April, whose outstanding hospitality made our visit truly memorable. Their care and attention added a personal touch that made our trip feel extra special.

We enjoyed our summer stay so much that we returned for a special winter getaway and have already booked rooms for next summer with the entire family. The Chateau Inn and Suites is truly a gem, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Stayed here New Years Day with my fiancé as a Birthday present to him. This place is amazing! It is beautiful, the room was beautiful and clean, and plenty of amenities. We stayed in the King Parlor suite. It was perfect. The lobby area is beautiful! All of the innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!!

Beautiful place in a beautiful town. We had a luxury suite and the two rooms were great to spread out in , also has a balcony. Staff were friendly. There's always water , tea and coffee available but that's it. We knew going there that no breakfast or snacks are served however having pastries in the morning would make this place even better. There's a deli a hundred feet away w/ breakfast sandwiches and deli throughout the day.

We stayed at the Chateau for our wedding, and had a block there for our guests. We have family in the area and had always admired the Chateau walking by. When we booked our wedding venue in Spring Lake, the Chateau was our first choice for accommodations, and it was everything we hoped for and more! The rooms were unique, classy, comfortable, and photogenic for our getting ready photos.

Our suite had a balcony overlooking the park, which was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our first morning as newlyweds having a cup of coffee and recapping our wedding.

The Chateau is convenient to the train station for our NY/NJ friends and family, and our out-of-town guests all felt right at home. Despite our family living just down the street, we are already planning a vacation where we stay at the Chateau again to enjoy the wonderful accommodations and relive our wedding day.

Nice hotel that has a antique look to it. Seems like it was a big home converted into smaller hotel rooms. We love the feel and the look of it. We went for Valentine’s Day weekend and it was a lot cheaper.
