Great location right off of the interstate near lots of other stores and food places. Rhiannon was a great help to me! She helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and had a smile on her face the entire time. Very sweet and patient. The store has a great selection of styles.

I bought a pair of sunglasses for my three year old that were advertised for ages three to seven and also advertised as indestructible. The hinge broke before we were out of the parking lot. The Coastal Outfitters refused to stand behind the falsely advertised product and exchange for same item. My three year old left crying all the way to the car. Do not buy anything from Coastal Outfitters!

Really enjoy coastal outfitters stock and brands. My biggest complaint is the return and refund policy. On two occassions, I had defective items and the store blamed the customer, refused exchange. I swiftly sent products to afteco, they said it was a defect in craftsmanship on both items, seperate times, replaced items immediately at no cost to me and apologized for the defects. The owner/manager was rude and would not even attempt to examine the product farther to see if it was defective, automatically stated it looked ripped from seam from a 4 foot distance. Blaming the customer for material/sowing defects, is NOT a good way to keep customers. Never the less, I've given the store another try in hopes that this is a fluke experience with the store. Most of the times, the products are in excellent condition. I just know they will not uphold the brand, and the brand deserves to be upheld. It's great to be able to enter the store and buy when needed, but very simple to order and purchase these same products online or elsewhere. I really hope the manager realizes that if the vendor backs their products, so should she.

Terrible customer service. Brought in a pair of shorts with original receipt to exchange for a larger size. One Aftco tag was attached and not the scan tag (again had the receipt). Found the exact pair in a bigger size. Would not let me exchange because scan tag was not there.

Wait for it, the pair in a bigger size, THE SCAN TAG WAS NOT ATTACHED TO THOSE EITHER. It was just being held by the hanger. So, we can BUY the shorts without the tag being attached but we can’t exchange for a bigger size? So, we let them keep the $350.00 sale we were purchasing at the same time since they didn’t want to EXCHANGE the $40.00 pair of shorts. Even asked the manager had I purchased the bigger size today without the scan tag attached and walked out, then walked right back in, would I be able to return or exchange them. Her answer was, “no”. Would not recommend.

Great selection and products. We didn't interact with the staff on this visit, but everyone seemed nice. The atmosphere is laid back and it smells like new stuff! This store has several brands that are tough to find in store without having to shop online. I will be returning soon to purchase an item my husband was eyeing for his birthday!

With the 4th of July coming up I had to visit one of my favorite stores. I love the staff and customer service that I receive when entering the store. The staff is always helpful finding the items that I am looking for. The first thing was a Yeti. I believe they have the largest selection in town. Then I had to look at the all the new items and I know my husband loves when I go to Coastal it is like Christmas all over again for him.

I purchased a red Local Boy tshirt there a few weeks ago. After one wash the decal on the front pocket went away. Tried to return at the store but the young man told me their policy said they couldn’t refund me or exchange the shirt. If they don’t stand behind their items why would I want to spend my money there?
Follow up: spoke with the manager this morning and she confirmed their policy was to send the customer to the manufacturer. So, in the future I will buy my stuff directly from the manufacturers and NOT Coastal Outfitters!

I bought a dress on 5/29/2017. Left it in the bag in my back seat for a week. Never took the bag out of my car. Thought I better just return it because I was afraid it would shrink and I wouldn't be able to wear it. So the next weekend I go to return it. The manager says "I can't take this back you wore it" I'm like no I didn't. I never took it out of the car. She proceeds to call me a liar in front of everyone. Said I'm sorry that's our policy. So if you think you might need to return something beware.
