This is now a Chevron Food Mart. The store is nice and very clean with a lot to offer. The gas pumps are always all working and are very clean. Plus they always have receipt paper at the pump to print at the pump. There is nothing worse then getting the dreaded receipt inside message. The fuel prices are good and all grades are at a fair price. We use the premium and it is the best price in town for a grade A fuel.

Nice, clean, well lit. Great selection/inventory. The air pumps and all gas pumps are in working order. Friendly staff member who seemed to carry much responsibility with cooking/cashiering and running the store, solo.

Interesting story about this place- for decades, this was a different brand of gas station and it was THE stop every time we passed it. On drives from Florence to Birmingham and Montgomery and Florida, it was and still is the LAST station you pass before hopping onto the interstate. My father always stopped here, and the habit formed for me to always stop here- for gas, bathroom break, soft drinks, candy, whatever. A few years ago they tore down that station and in its place, built this nice new station. I like the selection of snacks, the clean bathrooms, the location, and the space in the aisles between the pumps, gives you more room to maneuver. Overall, good location to stop and refuel your vehicle and yourself. What I miss though, was that the old station had hand-dipped ice cream and fresh popcorn. Bring it back !
