This Publix store was very neat and clean. I had a great first impression.
Unfortunately, the store manager approached my partner as she was shopping in a different isle, where she snapped several pictures to add to my review. I was surprised to hear that she told her she was not allowed to take pictures of the store, even though she explained it was for a Google Maps review of her store. The manager told her that if she didn’t care what it was for, and to put her phone away!
I would have purchased more at the store if this had not happened. I actually put most of our cart back. I was very upset about it.
Upon checking out the items that I did decide to purchase (for no other reason than the fact that I REALLY needed them), I asked the employee for her managers name. She seemed nervous and reluctant to tell me. She didn’t apologize for the experience, rather, she told me her manager was very nice and she liked her a lot.
I was shocked at the lack of respect and appreciation that the employees showed us at customers - and as a local guide contributing to the success of their business by providing a review that I took the time and effort to voluntarily give the store.

The Publix in Altamonte Springs was a pleasure to visit. It was clean and well organized. The people who worked here were friendly and helpful. We had great shopping experiences during the few days we were in town visiting my brother while he was in a nearby hospital.

Have bought numerous items from here that were already expired, a month out and more! Have bought food that when I get it home it’s rotten or molded inside I have shelled out almost $100 in the past week on food we could not eat!! Do better Publix because it is NOT a pleasure shopping here!

I come in a decent amount because it's on my way to work. Today was really nice for me. For about 6 weeks I have been really sick. From the time we found out I was pregnant, it seems like a laundry list of other ailments keep popping up. For 6 weeks, I was so bad I couldn't walk to my own bathroom without help. It's been really rough for me physically and mentally. Today Mrs. Macey who's line I normally try to hit when she is there, made me feel seen. I know they see lots of people every day, but one of the times after we left the hospital, we went in to go grocery shopping because he gets nervous doing it alone. She remembered me in my low and asked how I was today. I am feeling somewhat better and hopefully on an upward swing.

I say this long and personal story because I want people to understand how nice these employees are and how some of them are just heaven sent. It really made my heart and soul feel a little better during a time where I have really been struggling through my circumstances. Small acts of kindness can change the world, no matter how big or small that world is.

The bakery I have never been so disappointed in the bakery not making Chicago rolls the light ones are real and big the little brown one is fake all other Publix has Chicago rolls the manager needs to know what the bakery is doing this is sad food service will be notified what Publix is doing not baking things
