Loved this store, they are so patient and are so knowledgeable about all things camping and backpacking. I had difficulty with one of the zippers on my backpack and brought it in . I was able to fix it no problem with Neil. Would recommend this store to anyone with backpack or camping needs.

I drove an hour to check out a bike for my child after the website said it was in stock. Upon arrival, I couldn't find the bike anywhere. I asked for assistance from an employee, and instead of being helpful, he literally rolled his eyes at me. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and I left feeling completely frustrated and disappointed. I won’t be returning and have lost all trust in REI as a company

I’m really glad to see an REI store in Orlando, especially since there are no Arc’teryx or Patagonia stores in this area. I struggle with online shopping, particularly when it comes to evaluating materials, so, having a physical store is a big deal for me.

Alex was incredibly knowledgeable & answered all my questions, from which Gravel blanket is better for flights to the Salomon XT6 sneaker, Patagonia mini mlc backpack, Peak design tech pouch, & carabiners for my BeFree water bottle. He also shared his own travel experiences with the products’s features he recommended, which was super helpful.

Thank you, REI, for being in a reachable location. I’ll definitely be returning to complete my travel gear, using both Alex’s recommendations & my own online research.

One week before Christmas and there is one person working the entire shoe department. I stood there for a good 15 minutes waiting to ask for sizing and I got ignored multiple times. The gentleman literally skirted around me to get sizing for other people and I was standing there for more time than them. I’ve never felt so ignored at an REI and I was ready to spend $200 on running sneakers. I guess I’ll go down to the Track Shack instead.

Great service and products. Jacob helped me in the bike shop and he was very pleasant and professional, and did his best to give me the best deal on the repair. I highly recommend purchasing your athletic gear and bicycles with REI since they will stand by their service!
