I went to the store to find a dress for a gift. I had apprehensions because some reviews I checked before hand. My experience was wonderful. The lady in the store gave me space and time to browse at ease. When I asked her questions she was on point and explained with details. Prices are affordable and according to the products. I sure will come back again if the opportunity arises.

We came in during holiday busy season. My friend is of a particular color and was the only one the store of this particular color at the time. Once we walked in we felt the only associate working eyes following every where we moved, despite the store being filled with people. We paid no mind and chose to ignore it until we were on the women’s clothing side where there is a secondary door but we were not standing next to the second door or facing it. The said associate hurriedly came from the other side of the store approaching us and directly looking at my friend, informed us that the paticular door was locked and not a door we could exit from. We were baffled by her need to come up to us, two women of color and let us know this. She did not inform the people near us of this who were closer to the door or anyone else for our remaining time there. We are not here to be profiled or targeted by ignorance.

There are other reviews of similar situation. Take it as you will.

*Their reply is laughable. “I have friends of color so I can’t be racist! One even calls me an adoptive mother!”. Your other reviews confirm our experience. The door was locked as we were informed. If the door is locked then it can’t be opened to be exited. Again, we were the only ones informed despite it being packed. A sign on the door would have sufficed.

The owner of this boutique, is a gem, constantly running charities for children and cancer patients. Will tell you what looks good and what looks best and what doesn't work in the kindest manner possible. Anybody complaining can't afford the store let's be real.

10/23/24. Last week, my friend & I had the pleasure of visiting Bebes & Liz's in Winter Park, FL.
> The primary reason for our visit was originally discovering the attractive multi-product clothing & toy store about 4 years ago.

> Their wonderful service reminded me of the iconic Marshall Fields based in Chicago prior to being acquired by MACY's.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Rosie who immediately discovered our love for Teddy Bears.
> Being an Official Collector of BEARS for over 65 years; I can perhaps state I know what I am searching for.
> After our selection of the perfect BEAR for one of our grandchildren, Rosie proceeded to wrap the BEAR in an EXQUISITE gift package spending over 15 minutes wrapping, creating bow strings and making a beautiful attractive display.
> Macy's would charge extra for this SPECIAL Service.
> We learned Rosie's background was with established Park Avenue NY retailers.
> My friend and I appreciated the attention & service given by Rosie and her friend, Tweenie.
> This store has numerous items for children and infants.
> Bebes & Liz's surely understand and practice the ultimate retail service experience.

The most unique and classy children’s clothes you’ll find anywhere. The baptism and communion dresses were aplenty and so very unique. From baby to teen, this store had the most beautiful clothing available I’ve seen on this side of Florida. The owner, Liz, is truly vested in not only her shop but each client that comes in. She took time to answer questions, to help an uncoordinated mom (me) put together show stopping outfits. She was kind, patient and knowledgeable the entire time. She’s worth the 3 hour drive for me and I’d do it all over again to support her and this gem of a small business!

I bought a beautiful dress for my daughter today. I was impressed with the selection. True, they are not cheap. But the reason for my 2-star rating is the customer service. The lady made us feel we couldn’t afford the dress. I didn’t appreciate her statement and tone. She told me “you know that’s not the price for the dress, right? ($32) that’s for the headband” me: “oh, how much is the dress?” “It’s very expensive. The tag is inside. ($158)” 😐

I hope you don’t get treated the way she did with me. But just be mindful of this if you plan to visit this store. Apparently, I’m not the first to experience this. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Liz and bebes is an amazing boutique for all your needs she has everything from baby to grown girls ranging from dresses both short and long to shoes and jewelry for all ages. If your looking for a place to find spectacular outfits this is the place!!!

The Bebe Boutique is the rudest store on Park Ave. Every other place along the avenue has such friendly owners/employees, but I’ve gone into this store twice with my daughter and had bad experiences with two different employees/owners. I’ve literally never been in a store with such rude people working there. They glare at their customers if they have children and even follow people around glaring at them. Unhelpful and overall seem to not like having children there, because after all, they might do something to tarnish their precious CHILDREN’S clothing that they SELL THERE! Time for some of these women to find a new line of work.
