Update.
There were more Amazon people picking up items from online orders than there were shoppers, and online orders are cheaper than in-store purchases, if you spend a minimum of $50, I think. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I've only shopped at Amazon Fresh three times, but there is a wide selection of products, and Prime members especially get even more discounts.
Since the store just opened, I'm coming here with an open mind.
I've only spoken to a few of the employees, but I have a good impression of them, as they seem to be very nice people. Since it's the opening, I think they've gathered especially nice people.
If consumers are smart, they can find that some products are cheaper if they buy them from the Amazon website. Of course, fresh produce, meat, and frozen products are better bought in stores.
If I could be greedy, I would like to be able to drink coffee at the food court, even if it was just one type of Amazon brand. If they changed the type of coffee every few weeks, I would be able to compare them, which would lead to more purchases.
I don't drink pop, and I have a Reverse Osmosis water filter installed at home, so I don't bother buying water.
Please serve Amazon branded coffee in the food court, so the delicious aroma of coffee can waft through the store.

We stopped at the Roseville location to try out this scan & go shopping that Amazon offers. The carts are designed to scan & weigh the items as you place in your cart. They carry mostly Amazon products that we found a limited selection. And not too impressed with their meat department. Overall experience was okay, not great!

The store had a nice layout. The shelves had a lot of bare spots but that's to be expected the week of opening. The smart carts are neat. You log into the application, scan everything into the cart and then just walk out of the store and it charges through the app.

Extremely over priced! I thought it being Amazon it might actually be a bit more competitive. And the hot food was nothing to write home about. It was dried out and obviously had been sitting in the warmers for some time.
The carts were cool but not enough to make up for the way too high prices on everyday items that families shop for.

I was excited to see Amazon fresh. But this place is not cheap. I'm a prime member, and they do offer some exclusive discounted prices for the prime members. But to me, this place is just a little upgrade version of Walmart with high-end grocery store price.. (Its not like they carry special/unique products too). Just opened, so packed with people. But they do have a fancy cart with a screen that can scan and pay as you go. They have small krispy kreme store inside, pizza, salad bar, and hot food section. But the hot food section was totally empty, more like not ready, and it was 12:40pm...

My my my, this is the grand opening for Amazon Fresh store in Roseville. Full of anticipation and excitement, I took a trip over. It was just as exciting inside. I bought the rotisserie chicken for under $6 bonzes. It has Alexa Ask on the end isles and other nice features. I cruised the entire store and found so many deals. It was a nice outing to the Amazon Fresh store and will go again.

Staff was great, helped us get started and explained how everything worked with the quick checkout amazon carts. There are regular registers and a self check out option as well. Great selection of groceries and even a few fruits available for the kids to choose from for free!!

So far, we're enjoying the new Amazon Fresh store. It has a terrific selection of everything thing we need, as well as healthier options like red lentil pasta. On Christmas, we enjoyed some ribeye steaks that were bargain priced. Half the fun is discovering what's on sale.
