Super happy with my experience at Maria’s Alterations. I was really struggling to find a reliable seamstress in the area and I came across Maria’s page and was immediately drawn to the work and other positive reviews of bridal dresses she has designed and altered for other brides. I asked to schedule a consultation to see how she would be able to bustle my dress because it had multiple layers and a unique pattern. She gave me multiple examples of how it would work. In addition Maria game some other suggestions of how the dress could be improved but did not pressure me to doing it. She definitely had the eyes to be able to pick out anything and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Maria for any bridal alterations and I will be going back if I ever need anything in the future.

Maria did such a beautiful job on my dress! She made it the perfect fit for me with the size and length. I appreciated how kind and loving she was. I cannot recommend MD bridal alterations enough. Maria knows what she’s doing, and I am so lucky to have found her ! I literally asked her 5 days before my wedding to do a lot of alterations and help me fix what someone else messed up.My dress was not easy either, it was a big ballgown
Type of dress. There was a lot to be done. She still agreed to do it and help me out. I was so nervous dropping it off because I didn’t know her yet but was relying on her good reviews. But once I met her, I just knew she knew what she was doing. She did it quickly and did an excellent job! Not only that, but I asked her to make a veil for me from scratch from a material I bought and she did a PERFECT JOB ! She tells you straight forward what you do or don’t need, and she doesn’t try to just make money off of you and upcharge extra services etc. it’s very hard to find people like this. I know this is a long review but I know how much these reviews meant to me when i was looking for a seamstress. If you go to her I promise you’ll be in great hands ! Thank you so much again maria !!

My sister gave Maria her debut dress to fix more than a month in advance, and Maria gave us a date to pick it up. Every time my sister asked to pick the dress up, she said it wasn't ready yet and gave us a new date. She did this at least 4 times. It was a week before my sister's debut and the dress still wasn't ready. My mom told her that she was just going to pick it up with whatever tailoring Maria had done because it seemed like Maria was never going to be done with the dress.

When my sister went to try the dress on, she noticed that the dress could not even close. Somehow 4 inches were taken out. Maria then meanly said that my sister must have just gained weight. We already paid Maria $364 to fix the dress and now my mom has to stay up all night before my sister's debut to fix it herself.
