I've been to this store twice now the first time the tall young man behind the register was incredibly friendly and helpful. But my most recent experience was the polar opposite the employees seems upset I interrupted there conversation the first 2 didn't speak English and were talking over me like I wasn't there. When someone who spoke English did "help" me she was interrupt by the cashier who now somehow spoke English who said "the price is in front of the meat see u can read it" which wasn't my question in the first place. Everything is overpriced $5 for $1 bread most things aren't priced at all. So they can change the prices depending on who you are. For 1 or 2 things the price is worth the convince. But the prices along with the attitude I might as well drive into town get the same attitude for half the price.

I had stopped by on my 21st bday and wanted to try this lemonade (alcohol). That was on the 2nd of August. I had let the cashier know that there was an expired can and more of it, but he asked of I still wanted it and I said no bc it's ILLEGAL to sell expired product especially alcohol. It's the end of August when I came back and wanted to check if it was still there bc they don't know the importance of what I said to them and I figured they brushed it off like nothing. So sure enough it's still there. If you are the manager reading this, you need to get yourself and your employees in line. I will call the health inspector and it won't only be for this product.

1st time going in today. Nice, pretty organized little market. This isn't your typical "Carcineria" or whatever but the folks there were nice, they have liquor and some nice varieties of beer. The meat section was small. They don't carry seafood from what I remember seeing but they had meat cuts. The salsa there were good. I got to try them and I liked them. The folks at the meat section were super awesome! Very nice and so stoked they let me try the salsas!

Went in to try to get some poke, it is advertised outside. No poke only ramen and other cuisines. Unfortunately did not walk out with anything, the lady behind the counter at the deli spoke no English and could not understand me pointing to a picture that I wanted the item.

This place is a staple of the village. The attendant Chris is always kind and helpful. He also has the best scoops of what’s going on in town and anytime there’s an issue he knows what’s going on and what’s happening. We will really miss the village market After we leave town.
