This smoke shop just expanded and it’s bigger and better! They have a wide variety of water pipes just added a bunch of merch and clothing! The owner and employee take pride in this business and it shows! Nothing like walking into a family owned business and getting the proper treatment! Nothing but high quality products and good customer service!

Flume Pebble at smoke shop 1/2 mile away = $20 cash / $23 with card. Same thing here with card? $35 and change.

I don't mind paying a bit more at a local owned shop with good people but that markup is just outlandish.

Best smoke shop in San Diego! Kosay and Nick have some of the best customer service and truly care about what products you like and will even sometimes specially order your products if they don’t have it. Shop is clean and New, plus they have really good munchies!! Highly recommend this shop!

The employees do NOT wear masks as required. When I asked the employee why he didn't, he said because he stays far away from everyone. That is not how virus transmission is prevented - all of the safety protocols need to be adhered to in order to slow the spread. I have spent a lot of money there during the pandemic in an attempt to shop local but if they won't follow simple safety procedures to keep their shoppers and our community safe, then I won't go back there. At least at The Black- they follow state mandates and care about the community as much as their profit.
