So glad I made the trip to check out this fabulous shop. Great selection, super cute store - and absolutely loved talking to Sue and Audrey! They personify what I'm quickly learning (I'm a newbie) is an incredibly kind, helpful and enthusiastic quilting community. My only disappointment is that I'm visiting from out of town and can't take a class or become a "regular"!!!

I was visiting a dear friend in Lincoln. We were checking out quilt shops in the area when one shop directed us to Sew Katie Jean. What a beautiful place with lots of enticing fabrics and potential projects just waiting for a quilter to take them home. I shared with Audrey a problem I was having with free motion quilting and breaking thread. She opened up her lap top and allowed me to watch an educational video on the topic of needles and thread. When I arrived home I put what I had learned into practice and sure enough my problem was solved. You will love this shop and the friendly staff.

My favorite place for fabric, notions, classes, inspiration, laughs, conversation, and fellowship.
The owners, Audrey and Sue, are so attentive and helpful, whether helping find the right fabric, helping with yardage math, offering options and ideas when asked. They also have a full sized quilting machine to help complete quilt projects.

I love this little shop. My favorite part is how they give customers a chance to do monthly blocks and possibly win blocks. Sue is great at helping with any project.

I took in blocks my friend's deceased Mother-in-law created for advice on stabilizing the blocks and what color to use between the blocks. As usual, Sue and Audrey gave good advice and extra tips.
