This mall is cool for quaint brunch or lunch dates with friends, family or an S.O. they have a movie theatre which isn't bad but if you have more sensitive hearing, be mindful of which type of movie experience you select. I can't remember which it is but there are different options for better resolution and listening experience. Or if you have more sight based concerns, pick accordingly. They have lots of fun places to see like the costume store or of course target. Even bath and bodyworks. It's overall a good place and quiet enough to have a nice outing. Good mall.

The Playground gets better and better, adding new toys and jumpers for the kids! My 4 year old loves it here. $22 for all day fun.

Barely a shopping mall. It has several anchor stores, a theater, a food court and several of what you expect from a mall.

However, this mall is always pretty empty with several closed locations. It's layout is simple, ample parking, really great restaurants, a target and a Walmart, freeway and trolley close.

Not sure what makes this mall unfun and almost depressing to be in.

It's a nice place for a casual walk around with the family and some great stuff to do while there. Give it another try.

Grossmont Center is one of the more enjoyable shopping centers of San Diego. Target and Walmart each have 2 floors and a decent selection with good prices. Marathon Coffee is a great place to stop in between stores. Panda Express often has a line, but is worth the wait. Outdoor, comfortable seating is provided in a relaxed environment. There is, also, a Macy's, Barnes and Nobles, and an incredibly overpriced but very nice Reading Cinemas movie theater (smuggle in your snacks or wait until after the movie prices are crazy high). There are quite a few other places to shop here as well. It is in walking distance from the trolley. There is plenty of parking available. I recommend it.

I love that there's such a variety here. Walmart at one end, Target at the other. Great unique shops in between. There's even a great spot for your pooch. And, it's not that bad of a walk from the trolley station, both green and orange.

Wow one of the few malls worth visiting.
This mall has everything and I mean everything. The only thing this is an outdoor mall, but other than that is great shopping mall.
