What a great Mexican grocery store! If I lived in Lancaster CA — this would be my primary food store. Bakery, produce and meat dept are incredible! There is a hot ready to eat food area and they make fresh tortillas to purchase. Prices were really good too.

What a wildly high priced market, everything is at least 20-25% more than even corner liquor store, or gas station prices. I went in the other day with a Hispanic friend of mine & thought I'd buy him some pork cracklings & was shocked to see that they were $15.99 per pound, I'm pretty sure that there are a couple of neighborhoods in town where you can buy a whole pig for $15.99. Oh I had to use the restroom & I thought I had passed out & been taken to Mexico, because of all the used toilet paper stuffed to the top of the garbage can, how does this happen I get it if they weren't here, but come on please put it in the toilet I dint wanna see that you've been eating sweet corn & have diarrhea.

Vallarta’s meat department’s quality has decreased a lot in latest year, today got Choice Diesmillo steaks, is more expensive because “has better quality then the other” Very thick stakes for Diesmillo cut and the worst Quality I have ever tried, meat was tough as rubber
I haven’t buy chicken from Vallarta for many years now for the same poor quality reason and now I won’t spent a penny again on their garbage quality meat,,
Very disappointed !! And the worst part of all this is that if I try tu return the item I have to go through hell with the store managers..
we just put it in the trash can today .. But never Again !!! 😡

Every time I get a chance to drive to Palmdale I visit la Vallarta market, I like the variety of veggies and home made food, There has been a few times that I've purchased chicken tamales and corn tamales, well the chicken tamales tasted good in the other hands, I bought two dozens of corn tamales to share with my family, I gave my sister a few of then, the next morning she called me to tell me that they tasted like masa not corn and also the horrible taste of lard was precent in all of them making them so unpleasant to eat, I also tasted one of them and I was so disappointed on how horrible they tasted, I Spent a lot of money for the 2 dozens, I also gave some to my friends and they were also dissatisfied with the bad taste. Where I am from corn tamales are make with fresh corn, not masa, they added cream or cheese, they never add lard or any type of grease, sorry but leave you a nasty grease after taste in your mouth. I won't buy them ever again so a waste of food and money.
