First off, I drive from LA to get my alterations done here. I started coming here initially as I was looking for a lengha for my friends wedding. I found the dress there and had it tailored. It was done within a week and perfection. Since that time I have continued to come here with skirts and other items for tailoring. Now my big day is here and I choose to take my wedding dress here as they do a phenomenal job. Most places will take months to get the dress tailored but it was done in less than 2 hours. I only needed the waist and bust taken in as the rest was a perfect fit. It was reasonably priced at $85 and it’s perfect. Thank you again Samir and everyone for being able to accommodate me and get this back to me within hours!!! I added the photos for the dress so you can see that it wasn’t some simple dress that needed altering due to the detailing. If you are looking for a new tailor give this place a try as they do beautiful work!!!

I came here to get a few outfits for my friends upcoming wedding. They were very helpful in searching for appropriate outfits for the occasion. I went to multiple other vendors in the area but the merchandise was less diverse and the staff was less knowledgeable. I ultimately bought 2 outfits for a very reasonable price including alterations. I even brought my husband here for matching kurtas which they helped to select. Closer to the event, I needed some additional alterations so I again returned. They did the few alterations I needed for free. I felt loyal from the start and they earned that loyalty. Couldn’t recommend more.

We went to Artesia to get a bridal outfit for my daughter for her reception. We ended up at Damini Boutique and left with not only the lehenga of her choice but also with some long-lasting memories.
The owner, Samir, was not pushy and patiently helped us with our selection. The prices were reasonable and the quality was great. We had several saree-blouses stitched for the occasion and everything turned out great.
We had to make a couple of trips for the trials since there were alterations. Throughout the process, Samir and his staff were very cordial and friendly. We were not charged for the alternations.
If you are in a hurry, and you want to get in and out, this is not the place for you. If you are patient and you are ready to come in with an open mind and be surprised to find some gems (people and clothing) this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this store!

I normally don’t like writing bad reviews for small businesses but I got ripped off here so I felt the need to. I took an Indian skirt and top to get it altered here. The man threw out a number and said it will be $70 to do alter. Since I thought that was a lot, I got it down to $60 and he charged me $6 for tax on top of it. When I asked why it cost so much, he said altering the top is the expensive part. I asked him to remove the sleeves and make the sides tighter. I gave him two weeks and when I went to pick up, the skirt was adjusted but he didn’t do a single thing to the top. I couldn’t believe I paid $60 just to alter a skirt. When I called him out, he told me to give him some time to do the alteration. I waited 30 mins, went back and all he did was remove the sleeves. When I asked yo adjust the sides, he told me yo wait again and when I tried it on again, the sides were tighter but it bubbled up on the top and was thin at the bottom. At that point, I was over it so left with the outfit. I should have gone to a different place to do the alteration.

Dorothy came though! I got a sari blouse altered in 2 days time. Price was very reasonable. They stitch sari blouses here for $90. I was very happy with the service received here.

The shop owner Samir was so friendly! Reminded me of an old uncle haha the staff was kind and helpful too! I had my dress tailored, so a week later I came to pick it up, but the top was too small. They were quick to fix the alterations though so it fits perfectly now! I just had to wait about 30 mins for them to fix it up. I bought a second dress as well when I went the second time and I was able to negotiate the price to be a bit lower
