Whole Foods Market - Long Beach, California

Whenever I travel, which is often, I make it a point to eat my primary meals at a Whole Foods Market. Last week, I was in Long Beach for work and stopped at this Whole Foods location for dinner at the hot bar. Very convenient to the Long Beach Airport, the location was ideal and super easy to get to, but the real gem to this store is its cleanliness and variety of options at the hot bar. All of the food items were well prepared and delicious, especially the Nana's Chicken Soup, which at some stores barely contains any chicken at all. This Whole Foods location added ample chicken and it was seasoned just right. The cashiers were very friendly and again, the store was very clean and well managed. Take it from me who has traveled all over the U.S. and been into most Whole Foods stores, this one is top notch and far surpasses all others. If I lived in the area, I would patronize this location daily, but since I am in town only a couple of times a year, this store will get all of my business. Thank you to management for running and maintaining an excellent Whole Foods Market.

This location isn’t bad at all. Very clean and tidy and most things are always in stock. The cashiers are nice , I met lots of them they do a good job with who they hire. The only flaw is the hot bar isn’t always restocked on time.

Something to note about the location is that it doesn’t have a butcher section so you can’t get the fresh meats or seafoods like you would most other locations. The protein selection isn’t very high. Don’t come here if you want fresh meat and fish cuts , or fresh oysters and crabs. It’s not here.

Other than that. This place great.

Needed to kill a bit of time before I picked up dinner. So, I grabbed up breakfast fixings, bacon, eggs, cream of wheat. I found some snacks and even dessert! With a family of 3, I REALLY appreciate a 1/2 size of pie, I saw a Key Lime. Well, the pie was a tad sour although the whip cream did help out. I gave 4 stars since the prices are High!

The Whole Foods is the best one we have found. It’s very large with a large selection of cooked and fresh produce 🍏 and vegetable s🥕. The customer service is great and it’s very easy to check out. The indoor and outdoor seating is nice.

It’s very easy to park and fill up your vehicle with bags of their food. The cooked food is delicious and healthy. We love exploring the aisles and fill our carts with lots of different food.

Super convenient if flying through Long Beach. Seems overly focused on to go food and already prep’d meals compared to other Whole Foods. Clean, well stocked, friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor eating areas

For the first time ever I ordered a prepared food package for Christmas. It was delicious! I got the prime rib dinner with several sides. The prime rib was tender and tasted wonderful.

We returned an item using Amazon Hub. Enter via door turn right. No having to go to the back of the store. Bought large brown eggs (12) for $3.69. there was no quantity limit.

Fresh fruit and decent vegan selection but I mostly go there to return Amazon items.
