Hiked up Helvellyn and wanted to pick up a few things after. Welcoming service and found pretty much everything I needed including a great selection of spices and fresh veg. The two gents there were helpful and engaging, patiently listening to my helvellyn hike experience! Highly recommended.

Very impressed they ordered some beer specially for me and the food selection is very good.we visited again this year 2023 ordered beer over phone and they delivered to site. Very helpful staff and good food don't understand any negative comments. To add to my last comment its 2024 and once again I am most impressed with this shop. Ordered my beer weeks in advance and had it ready when we arrived also the food section is very well stocked cannot speak highly enough of them

Cracking little shop this. Small it may be but so much good food available, including fresh cake/pies. Visited several times when passing through Glenridding and the staff are not rude at all (yes I have read past reviews) Infact the staff I have been served by were very friendly, can have a laugh and provided a great service.

Glenridding gets battered every weekend by 1000s of people all trying to do the same thing at the same time, be nice to them and they will be nice to you 👍👍
