I've frequented the one in Poway and finally got to the San Marcos location today, and it was delicious as always! I appreciate being able to order gluten free crepes, and it's a bonus that it's family owned. I'll be back!

Empty spot, but I came in the afternoon and didn't get too concerned by that. One guy just sitting at a table on his computer jumped up to help.

To start, they we're out some items like any milk alternatives, a bummer for me as I really wanted a latte, and the crepe was a bonus idea. No biggie.

Asked for suggestions and just got fairly low level of interaction, so I just placed an order. Again, no biggie, but there's no other customers for him to help.

Grabbing a table and I started to notice at this point, there was a general lack of cleanliness around the place.

While waiting, I used the restroom and it was not very clean for a place that's completely empty. It could use some upgrades so that it doesn't give off gas station feels. Washing my hands and I'm now realizing there's no soap. Ew. Now I'm questioning eating anything made here if they're out of soap + my earlier observations of the cleanliness level.

Food arrived quickly. A bit underwhelming and cheap on toppings/sauces. But maybe at this point I've just lost my appetite? Strawberries didn't seem fresh and overall undercooked. It's a crepe and doesn't take much to cook, and given there were no other customers to assist, I'd expect it to be pretty darn perfect.

The lack of cleanliness, though. 👎

This place has amazing and tasty crepes for sure! Plenty of space, ADA accessible and the staff are so personable and friendly. Definitely a place I will be back to for sure. We had the veggie crepe and the kitchen sink with the churro crepes. All of them were great!

Totally impressed. My wife had a gluten free crepe and I had the Allegra waffles with scrambled eggs. We want more!

The cook was chill and accommodating. We will be back.

We came here for Sunday brunch. The place was at about 50% capacity and the owner was running the whole kitchen all by himself, but he was doing a fantastic job.
We ordered a vegetarian sandwich, caramel banana crepes and strawberry chocolate crepes.

The sandwich was savory and very flavorful. The veggies were sauteed nice and had plenty of avocado inside buttered sourdough bread.

The crepes were also great. They were light and airy with plenty of toppings.

We also got an iced Arnold Palmer and a hot cocoa.

The owner/cook was super friendly even though he was very busy. We'll definitely be coming back here again for brunch.

Looking for a breakfast place, and probably haven't had a crepe in a couple decades so checked this place. I think of crepes as having fruit and whipped cream and didn't know they also can be savory. I got the Kitchen Sink crepe, and I wasn't impressed. It came with bacon that was already hard and not very hot so it wasn't made fresh. It had just one egg, some cheese and some canned mushrooms which were pretty gross. I didn't not even know what else was in it. Very forgettable and I didn't even finish it. The place was completely empty except for the cook. The whole experience was just "meh".
The crepe was $12, with a small strawberry tea for $4.50.
