If I could give Levante Jewelers 10 stars, I would! My fiance and I were looking for an engagement ring, but we were having a hard time figuring out which were the right design and diamond cut with the many options out there. Online vendors seemed to have better prices, but we soon realized it was hard to tell how it'd really turn out without seeing it in person, and we'd eventually need to get it resized. So, we thought we'd check out some stores to get a comparison.

I couldn't be happier I found this place via Yelp. Right when we walked in, Susie (works at the front desk) was extremely friendly and helpful! Since I didn't know what I wanted, she let me start by trying on as many styles as possible. I felt like she took out every ring! Once I narrowed it down, Joe helped me custom design my ring. He was AMAZING! Best communicator ever. He'd call or text me periodically to keep me updated, and it went through 4 revisions before he sent off the drawings to be made. Joe was stern on making sure the ring was exactly what I wanted, even though I felt bad for commenting that I wanted the leaves on the band a bit thinner, etc. And, he'd make helpful comments such as letting me know that having a lower cage could hit against my finger (knowledge from creating jewelry for 40 years) if I went too low. He also added a lot of design work by hand all of the ring.

This spot has very fair prices and Joe is extremely honest. He actually refunded me $200 once everything was done, since the design needed less diamonds than was originally estimated. How great is that?!

All-in-all, I had the best experience at Levante. My engagement ring is exactly what I wanted and Joe finished the whole process in a few weeks (probably would have been sooner but I had small changes that I wanted). My fiance and I will definitely be going back to customize our wedding bands! Would highly recommend to anyone!

No frills, no hard selling, no pressure.

When it comes to jewellery purchasing, this store is definitely a place to check out. I purchased an engagement ring from Joe and I had a good experience overall. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. The customer service is top notch and really has the charm of a small family-owned jewellery store.

If you are looking for an honorable and talented jeweler, there is one waiting for you at Levante Jewelers in San Marcos. I'm so thankful that we stumbled upon this hidden gem (see what I did there?) while looking for someone to restore and resize several expensive family rings. Two other jewelers told me I would need to get brand new settings for the stones, but Joe worked carefully and exquisitely to make the old rings look new while repairing weaknesses in the original settings, to which I had a huge emotional attachment. Susie was so patient with me, so thorough and so friendly. I cannot stress enough how creative and capable these two are. Five stars are not enough.

My Daughters' Birthday is tomorrow. I wanted to get her something special but I also wanted to buy something for her sister too.

1. Very Humble owners and I had an Amazing Experience!

2. I told them what I was looking for and they went out of their way to make sure I was very please with my purchase. We talk and made sure it was just the right piece I was looking for and I greatly appreciate that! Yes, I understand that their in the business of selling jewelry but I told them about other prices and Amazon and they were honest with me and still help me.

3. The owner Joe and his Wife took the time to make sure I left satisfied. Even after I told them that I had look prices on Amazon and online, they were more than happy to make sure My Daughter's got their Birthday Present and made sure it was authentic. How cool is that?!?

4. This was a GREAT experience and I will be coming back for more Presents to gift for the future.

5. They also speak a few languages and very respectful.

Anyone looking to shop for jewelry I would recommend this place and try them out and even if you don't buy anything they will make sure you walk away making sure you are inform and will take the time and effort out of their day to get you what you want. Even if it's not in their store. That's Humble.
