I adore visiting here, all the volunteers are very nice and helpful. They have craft classes on Wednesdays for around $5 and you can buy craft supplies like beads and feathers for your project. They also sell native american items such as jewelry or baskets. If your in the area stop by.

The Nuui Cunni Center is an inspiring place to visit ~ not to mention the great Potluck Lunches or Indian Tacos! And they have regular lessons on Arts & Crafts projects ~ like Gourd Art and Basket Weaving. Take your camera out back to see the garden and sculptures or walk down the dirt road toward the lake for some nice photogenic views of Lake Isabella, known locally as "Big Blue".

A must go to place if your Visiting the area and want to learn about the History of the native Indians in the area. Great place for locals to learn and take craft lessons on crating baskets and jewelry.

Beautiful atmosphere! You are able to feel that there is really an spiritual site. Planning on going on Wednesday to learn gourd decorating and later on weaving baskets. You also can find the perfect gift for a special one.❤

What a pleasant surprise. Everyone is nice and ready to answer all my questions. Local art too! On Wednesday from 10am to 2pm they have craft learning classes! I'll be back!

Great Native historical center with a marvelous view of the Valley. Complete with a cool gift shop of one of a kind, hand crafted items. There's also a reference library. Docents were helpful with a welcoming spirit.

Went camping and discovered this hidden beauty of a museum overlooking Lake Isabella. So much history there. They can give a great tour if you ask and they have arts and crafts activities for all ages on select dates. Call ahead and see what's in store.
