I haven’t been to this park in few years but came across picture I had taken there back in ‘21 so figured good time to do a review. I can’t vouch for now but the park itself was nice but lot of homeless were in the area, bathrooms were quite nasty inside (likely due to said homeless). Take away that factor, it’s really cool to see the Patton tank, the DUK track (or LVT, sorry don’t remember which) and few scrap pieces from the USS Arizona was unexpected.

Nice clean Park, great little place to stop and rest. Unlike parks in the valley it's not overrun with homeless

A diamond in the rough; this park features a M48 Patton tank in superb condition, and nearby is a DUKW amphibious vehicle from WW2. In between those two artifacts (which you can walk up and touch) is a fenced off area with several scrap pieces of the USS Arizona, the famed WW2 battleship sunk by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor in 1941. To see such artifacts is extremely rare (and unexpected for a town in the Sierras). Well worth a moment to stop, snap pictures, and read the commemorative plaques.

This park is really cool! It has some really cool army tanks in the front, and kids can play on them. The park has basketball hoops add a horseshoe ring. It's a very large Park and there's also a creek. I would have rated 5-stars except there's a lot of different kind of people that walk by or go to it.
