I stopped wearing Red Wing boots a few years ago because of the poor service I received.

Today I decided to stop by the store in Lake Forest and see if anything has changed. I was pleased to be helped by Hugo Mendoza. He knew what happened with my past experience and went above and beyond helping me out today. He had great customer service and knowledge of what I needed as an industrial/ commercial electrician and assured me that if I had any problems with my boots that they would take great care of me.

This guy deserves a raise. I was absolutely done with Red Wing boots until Hugo helped me out today. I ended up buying a new pair of work boots there and had to tell others it seems like Red Wing is making an effort to be there for their customers.

Firstly I would like to say i drove 2 hours just to visit this location. I heard from a friend that they have the best selection of heritage red wings going and to talk to a employee by Craig. I phoned ahead to make sure he would be in and my visit did not disappoint. I picked up some charcoal moc toes, Craig informed me of how these were sought after boots and the story of how they came across the leather used. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Red Wing and boots in general. We went through the sizing process just to make sure we were getting the right size, he also walked me through the care products and socks. He did not rush me and assured me we had all the time in the world, while doing this he was helping other customers answering each with as much care as the last I didnt see any other employees while shopping as Craig said that day he was working alone. I will be coming back for more. Red Wing has a customer for life and my friend was not wrong. Fantastic experience thank you Craig.
