This is a lovely store. The merchandise is beautiful and art is exhibited by local artists. The owner (Robin), was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She went out of her way to educate me on the local history and even wrote down all the places I should visit during my stay. I appreciate her kindness and will visit this store again. Thank you Robin for everything!!

The Lake House is a very special place, a joy to visit filled with tasteful goods from cards to jewelry to furniture and more. I am sure my wife would like to own at least one of everything! Service and taste by proprietor Robin is unequaled on the mountain.

Went to their open house, first Friday of each month. Today's focus was on Mountain Humane Society - the puppies and kittens were adorable! Very unique gifts and one of a kind items for sale... Check it out.

Such a lovely store! It's a must stop when I have visitors and I get some of the delectables she has to offer to serve my guests! One of my faves is the sweet green chile sauce to pour over cream cheese and serve with Fritos. Thank you Robin for such a pleasant and classy shop!

Beware of the owners crazy off leash dog in the store! We walked into this store with our 5 lbs toy poodle which was on a leash. The store owner’s dog suddenly ran to our dog and bite her! That dog was hiding under the chair/table which we didn’t notice and the store owner didn’t remind us there was an aggressive dog! The neighboring store mentioned that another dog had similar attack from the same dog before. If you have small child or small dog, don’t go to that dangerous store!
