I cannot agree more with the positive reviews of Gregory and his company Mercanti. It was a pleasure working with him through all parts of the process. I cannot emphasize the fairness and the kindness that I felt. We all need to support local small business owners more!

I went to an estate sale hosted by Greg Mercanti. Items were well organized and the prices were really good. I've gone to many estate sales in the bay. The Mercanti family was attentive and pleasurable. They really helped the people attending the sale with pricing and assisting with questions and helping put items in your car. Many times at estate sales and the liquidators are not that friendly or helpful( like they don't care if you buy anything or not and dont want to be pestered) That was not the case here, what an awesome family business. I will another one Mercanti. I'm not friends with the family nor do I know the Mercanti's until today. I read about the one poor review, complained I'm complained that one of the people running the sale had tattoos and he wasn't comfortable. Really? C'mon now! I have tats and so does a huge part of the population. I looked the reviewer up and it seems he has a lot of negative reviews for a plethora of businesses. That's a shame because I feel its only one bitter grape. Running estate sales is hard work,! It was 108 degrees today and they helped people carry their cars. I'd say that's pretty good service! I filled my SUV to the ceiling! Definitely gonna follow them to other sales. PS, I met the family member with the tattoos, lovely and gracious woman.

Disappointing and unprofessional.

Difficult sale to find since signs only went up 5 minutes before opening. Lots of confusion in the line prior to opening as the home had no signs posted either. Largely unpriced unmarked items for sale. Very tough to make purchase decisions.

Speaking of no signs, they accused me of theft because of the bag I brought to shop. Stated some sort of policy again with no signs. Seemed like a profiling issue to me. Always be wary of businesses that profile you.

Young couple rather immature in business. One had some face and neck tattoos that made me feel a little uncomfortable. There are better companies in the area to deal with.

We just finished up my mom’s estate sale with Gregory of Mercanti Liquidation. It was a great experience from start to finish! Gregory was very knowledgeable about the potential value of the various contents in our estate. Not only will he work to get you the best price, he is fair, honest and so very kind. We always felt extremely comfortable with Gregory at our property. He works hard for you and loves what he does. At the end of the sale we actually made more than he initially estimated. I just can’t say enough about our positive experience. If you’re in a situation that calls for a liquidator, I highly recommend Gregory, he is the BEST!!! Julie C.

As both a collector and a small business owner, in resale, I view estate sale liquidation companies (which are not all created equal) through at least a couple of lenses. Over the course of a recent Mercanti 'shop-closing' liquidation sale, I had a few opportunities to interact with Gregory, and I acquired a number of items. Gregory was consistently professional, patient, and kind in our communication. Also, I observed his respectful and informative interactions with sale patrons. Liquidating an estate or a business always requires sensitivity, flexibility, and a lot of hard work. Gregory's demeanor and ethic are well suited to the job. I look forward to visiting other Mercanti sales!

I purchased yesterday some beautiful furniture and very hard to find items from this company. And wanted to share my experience with everyone. There were two people that helped me when I got there, a very sweet and respectful young lady (I didn't catch her name) and a gentleman named Gregory, who was very knowledgeable and professional. I can recommend this place to anyone, being in sales myself I can appreciate it when I come across people who are so honest, caring, respectful and informative about their different products. He answered all her questions his estate had very great prices. He was very respectable, very professional, and when I purchased some items from the property we met later on that week. Went to my first estate sale this past Saturday. It was really cool ? Greg was kind and personable. The prices were very good; sadly I couldn't take any of the lovely furniture ? but I did find some fire cassettes and a lot of mini bottles ? I also scored some beautiful jewelry pieces.
