Dave was very helpful and full of knowledge. This is my first crawler and my son is going to learn on it. I'll be back for sure. Price is right on this rig. Couldn't find it cheaper online.

From the moment we walked in, he had an attitude. I came in to have a couple engines tested to see if they operated and check out the store. See what it might cost to build a set. I had a spectrum in a Kato box. "Oh Kato, they're no good". I said its a spectrum in a kato box. "Even worse" he says.

I asked if he'd test the other two and he starts in about how I come in with stuff he didn't sell and he usually gets $45 an hour. The engines were Walthers and he says their actually Bachmann? I didn't argue but by that point I was about done. Id actually been in the store years ago and bought a G scale caboose. I don't recall the snarkyness then. But...

I won't be back sir. You could have made a new customer but instead you lost one with your grumpy attitude. Trains are supposed to be fun. But I'm not going to go into the only train store around here to be talked down to and insulted. I don't need a train set that bad. But if I do, I'll drive to Branson or Joplin or Ft Smith. But rest assured, I won't be stopping in at the Train Stop.

David is a great guy. He has definitely been in the business a long time and knows the products. In the age of online hobby shops, it’s nice to go to a true hobby shop. I like doing business with him, and will cont to do so for as long as he keeps the shop open. For those that want a cheap train set, go online. For quality products and someone that will actually tell you what is really worth the money and why. Go to his store, not many left in the region. I don’t mind the drive at all to be a patron.

Horrible. The old man is so rude and not useful at all. He is not willing to help with anything. Go to Nwa RC Raceway. The owner is so much nicer and is willing to help. They have a better selection and at better prices. The owners name is ray. He is a great guy

When you walk in the door you are met with a constant beep to keep the door closed and an old man who seems to have been through a lot. When I asked him about something he instantly responded that it would be pointless to do that in a way that was kinda upsetting, but agreeable. When I started to look around there were many things that caught my eye. I got what I needed and was met with a surprise that we had to pay in cash, no card or check, just cash. Overall it was an interesting experience and had what I needed.
