I had a horrible experience with one of the Training Fund employees (Claudia Batista). She is unprofessional and unaware of typical tuition reimbursement procedures. Most importantly, she is RUDE!!!! After 5 minutes of an unproductive meeting with her today, I requested to reschedule my appointment with someone else that I felt would be more knowledgeable. She then went into the back room and proceeded to speak poorly about me with her coworker. I heard the entire conversation and requested to speak with her supervisor. Maryann (the supervisor) was not helpful at all. She attempted to direct my issue to other topics that had very little to do with the unprofessionalism of her employee.
I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. If anyone else has experienced an issue with this office, please speak up and expose these people. Claudia should not be a representative of 1199 if she chooses to conduct herself in this manner.

Horrible place to go for answers nobody knows a thing and they’re very rude I’ve been with 1199 for 10 years And all they do is take away Union DueS every week I asked them for my insurance card they never gave me a thing. Yolanda the union Organizer didn’t want to take my information Or help me out She’s highly unprofessional.
